Düsseldorf is actually one of the safer cities in Germany. In comparison to other places like Gelsenkirchen in NRW I consider this city to be full of students and genuine people. As a woman I feel safe to go clubbing, walking the streets late at night or traveling with public transport.
Posted: January 6, 2025It depends where you are in berlin, I for example live in kladow, here it's very safe in my opinion. There are every now and then some thief's going around and smaller vandalism, like spray painting and destoid glas at busstations, but apart from that I never noticed something off
Posted: January 6, 2025overall i’m feeling pretty safe in Regensburg - only times i’m not is during festivities when lots of men are walking around drunk (2x a year), i just avoid going out during these times and nothing serious ever happened to me here

In total I would say, that Germany is safe. But there are still low chances that you might be attacked or stolen from. But in my case something like that never happened. In Germany is my Generation trying to Look cool, like a very Bad Gang or something, but in total they are very harmless.
Posted: January 6, 2025i think böblingen is a pretty safe city, it‘s not the prettiest & there are a few streets where strange people spend their time but these people may look a bit dangerous but they‘re not actually. The worst they ever did to me was calling me over to ask about my day but i told them i don‘t wanna talk to them & they said sorry & turned around.

Like every other city there are places like some stations and some quarters or parcs i wouldnt recommend (when its dark) but in general very safe. I am living here since 5 years and nothing ever happened to me.
Posted: January 6, 2025Tübingen has many ways of creating safety for people. For example there is a number you can call when you’re going home in the dark and need somebody to talk to. I feel safe walking around at any time.
Posted: January 6, 2025I am just having a good life here. People are kind and also going out (at night) is not a big deal. It has never happened anything bad to me and police officers are also out at night. If there would happen anything I would definitely know what to do or where I get help
Posted: January 6, 2025I think Potsdam is relatively safe. You should stay away from some areas but I always feel safe during the day. I've only been spoken to strangely twice in public transport in more than 10 years and it was always easy to quickly leave the situation.
Posted: January 6, 2025Its not bad and i wouldnt describe it as dangerous at all. there are a lot of junkies and they can scare u and also do talk to u, but i have rarely ever experienced anything besides petty catcalling. if anything did happen it had to do with the people knowing me or my friends and having disagreements with us because i seem to be a controversial figure in my town

my experience cologne was really nice, i went for the concert there, and felt quite safe throughout the day, though maybe not as much during the night time. the transportation was okay, though there were some problems with bus, which made me amost miss my train
Posted: January 4, 2025Experienced: September, 2024I felt safe, i just had to watch out on the streets with clubs. I would recommend going to Kunsthalle museum and if you like going out then Reeperbahn. My restaurant recommendation is block house. I stayed at my sister’s so she drove me around but there is local bus and a train.

Hello I'm Cecilia. I love travelling and learning new languages. I also like to write poems and successfully turn one of them into a song (it's on music platforms! Check the link above to check my music out). A bit introverted but when we get to know each other, we'll have so much fun!
Katharina
Hi!, My name is Katharina. I am 20 years old and I am studying social Work in Germany. When I am on holidays I love to travel and meet new people on my journeys. After I graduated high-school I went for a one year journey to Finland. It was a great experience to get to know locals and learn about the culture of the country. After that I always wanted to have those kind of experiences again when I am travelling. So I am always interested in meeting new people when I am on my journeys. I am an open person and I love to meet people but I would describe myself also like a little bit shy. I am a calm person and besides the big adventures I also like to just drink a cup of tee and relax. I'm interested in backpacking, camping, culture, events, hiking, nightlife, swimming, writing and sunbathing. Especially I love music. Listening to it and sometimes try to do it myself :)
