To me I never experienced any crime, to myself or friends. I am living at the central station. And even there I feel safe. But its because the police is very present in this city. They are everywhere.
Posted: June 12, 2025Public transport until very late, almost 24h and it feels safe, but sometimes there are a handful amount of drunk people also I won't recommend going through parks alone in the dark, but besides that it's ok I don't like Reeperbahn, so I wouldn't recommend it (very full)
Posted: June 11, 2025I think Berlin is a very safe city if you travel consciously. The public transport can be unusual and gross and maybe there are weird people sometimes but if you are aware of your surroundings you will be alright. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t inappropriate comment or stupid, drunk men but if you are in the center of Berlin there will be lots of people around that you can also approach if you feel unsafe. If you are Queer and it is visible, be careful when visiting outside districts such as Köpenick, Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Weissensee, Reinickendorf etc. It isn’t usually dangerous, in my opinion, but there are more right wing people living there that won’t shy away from making a homophobic comment or trying to scare you. Stay safe!!

It's so safe, probably the safest place in the world, it's great. It's really safe. Beautiful place. You probably won't feel safer anywhere else. I once felt very unsafe, but then I moved to Karlsruhe. Great city.
Posted: June 11, 2025A really safe and quiet place in the german Alps. People we met while hiking were polite and said at most hello. Our accommodation was 30 minutes away from the centre of Berchtesgaden but me and 2 frieds walked to it to buy some snacks. On that way we also felt very safe even though the path was somewhat hidden by trees and bushes. Overall an amazing location to go hiking and admire nature while staying safe.

It's pretty safe as long as you avoid certain areas like "Am Stern". But overall it's a really safe environment, just the usual "being afraid in the dark" sadly every woman knows. But that isn't specifically because of Kassel, it's because of men in general.

Berlin is an amazing city with lots to do and see! I was only there for a short time so I did not get to cover everything and plan to go back eventually because of that! I felt safe walking even by myself as a woman, and the food there is amazing.

I visited Nuremberg just for a day since I live nearby, and it was a great experience. I felt completely safe the whole time. I recommend checking out Kaiserburg Castle and strolling through the old town — it’s really charming. I had lunch at “Bratwurst Röslein” — tasty and not expensive. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t say anything about accommodation. I spent around 20 euros for the day. Getting around was super easy on foot and by tram
