I feel pretty safe here and I do walk home alone at night, but I also feel pretty safe being alone in generell. It’s honestly like any other big city in Germany. As a woman I am as concerned about being harassed or worse as I would be in any other city but definitely not more.
Posted: July 14, 2025Berlin is relatively safe, I have been living here for over a decade, and thankfully, I have never experienced any negative incidents. Some crimes do happen, but it is usually in dark and remote locations.

Lübeck (the next town to where I live) is pretty small and relaxed. People are normally very friendly here and not frowning at all, like its often portraied. And when the sun is out, everyone is outside and just enjoying life
Posted: July 14, 2025I would say all in all Münster is a safe city to travel in. When I’m walking around at night with my female friends I usually don’t feel uncomfortable. However there are a few places where I’m always extra careful, like the central train station! Especially at night time there are always a few aggressive & drunk people. But most of the time you’ll find a lot of police officers walking around, making sure you’re safe. I would recommend walking around without fear, while maintaining a healthy awareness of others. :))

Frankfurt is super safe day and night. The main train station (Hauptbahnhof) is a little sketchy, specially at night, but other than that you are good to go. I would also highly recommend to never leave your drinks unattended.

I’ve felt safe in Bielefeld, even walking alone late at night from the central station. It’s often empty, but not threatening—maybe my sense of danger comes more from growing up in Colombia. I have also walk in the woods at night, and everything okay.

Stuttgart was beautiful, the clubs were amazing, and the people were very friendly. It's just that you have to expect that most of them have a German mentality. That means if you visit them, they won't offer you any food ✌🏻 but apart from that it was really great.

I felt safe most of the times but in a certain places like Hauptbahnhof or St. Pauli, I try not to pass those places by walking. I also sometimes didnt feel safe at public transports because of the Hijab i wear. Besides that I think Hamburg is wonderful. Ot has bith the criwded streets like Mönckebergstraße and boat trips from Landungsbrücken. I would %100 recommend you to go to Elbphilarmoni buildng. Its free to enter and you can see all the city from its balcony.
