Is Potsdam safe for women?

Safe! Just drunk people at night could not be the best vibe, although it never happened anything :) It's a medium sized city, more on the small side. But we'll kept and with nice classic arquitechture.

Is Potsdam worth visiting?

Solo travel

Hi, went there by train! Had a student Ticket so ist was pretty cheap, would recommend the Deutschland Ticket (49 €/month of Public transport). It's a little annoying that you have to go to Berlin first to go to Potsdam. I went there and found cool artgroups and courses. People were open and I stayed at a friends place. I belive hotels and restaurants are quite pricey there. Keep in mind that there's a time in the night when it's not so easy to go back to Berlin as the busses and trains take breaks. Busses weren't as reliable-plan in extra time!
