I spent three days in Berlin and, through this app, I even met a wonderful person who showed me around. We also visited Spreewald, an hour from Berlin, which made the trip even more special. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience: Berlin is vibrant, full of life, and especially in summer. I can truly recommend Highswing to anyone visiting Berlin and go to Spreewald if u like nature — it made the whole experience even more special. ✨

I've been there many times, yet everytime I was there and id look at the Dome, it was breathtaking! It's clean, modestly safe, and during Christmas period it fills with cute markets! Id advice you to go there during those colder times.

It was my second time in the city already. I think is such a good place to solo travelers. People don't care about what you're doing at all. But is a place where you don't need to feel unsafe. Live is just individualist and you can take your time everywhere. The sensation is incredible if you want to plan a chill trip.

my first experience travelling alone was in Travemünde. i was only staying for a few days in a Small Apartment. I spend in those 4 days around 200-250€ (including the apartment). My girlfriend also visited me for a day. I had a really nice walk with surprisingly good weather. the apartment was near the train station and the beach also near by (maximum 5 minutes for both). great opportunity to buy groceries and some small souvenirs. A lot of cafes that I sadly didn’t get to try all of them. I wouldn’t recommend the small pool from the hotel nearby. I would definitely do it again!

I recommend this place to cool down while you’re backpacking. Thats what my friend and i did. Its not that busy, but also not boring. I dont know how it is in the winter, but the summer is BEAUTIFUL!!

Frankfurt often feels more unsafe than it actually is. At first glance, it can seem intimidating, especially around the main train station, where you might see drug users, open prostitution, and red-light buildings in that area. However, I’ve been in that neighborhood many times (even at night) and nothing has ever happened to me -the same goes for my friends. That said, it’s important to stay aware, trust your instincts, and keep an eye on your valuables. If you do feel uncomfortable, it’s best to avoid the main train station area at night. Of course, Frankfurt isn’t 100% safe, no big city...
Posted: February 4, 2026Stuttgart is generally a safe place, but attacks on women do happen occasionally. If you're alone, it's best to avoid the smaller streets in the immediate vicinity of the city center/main train station, especially after dark. If necessary, take a taxi, even if the distance isn't far. Better safe than sorry.
Posted: February 4, 2026Freiburg is very safe! The criminal rate is not that high and as a woman, I feel pretty safe. If you are on a night out you should still be with someone else. If you don’t have anybody to go home with then call an “Frauentaxi” this is a taxi just for woman who need to go home at night.

I don't have too much experience, but it's a small village. Very nice and helpful people and I don't feel unsafe anywhere. Of course at night by train stations is always a little intimidating, but they have a few lights and I have never had any weird encounters

Munich is really safe, but during nighttime I wouldn't recommend taking the underground by yourself, especially if you're a woman, because there are many drunk people. But if you stay away from them you should be totally fine, even by night.

Hey there! ☺️ My name is Hannah and sunshine, community, good food and nature just make my heart beat a little faster! 🌅 Talking to fellow women about their life and celebrating sisterhood is so special to me, which is why I was just delighted to find out this app exists!🧘🏼♀️ During vacations, I love to interact with people as much as possible, read lots of novels and go on spontaneous adventures. 📖☕️ As I’m half Austrian, I’m always up for a hike, going climbing or for a bike ride or a swim, but it’s not a must. 🗻✨ I really hope I‘ll find some great friends on here, as I‘ve always wanted to have female friends to travel with!! ✈️ Hannah 🍓

hey fellow travel girls :) I am always happy to help, open minded (feminist, bi/queer, slightly spiritual), creative (studying architecture), curious, bold (Aries 🤷🏽♀️) and according to my therapist, I’m hyper-sensitive (overthinking, oversharing, overfeeling, … all the overs?) let‘s say I am a little bit of everything - always somewhere between caring too little and too much 🙃 (as we all are, I guess) I was born and raised in Leipzig and still live here - so if you need any insider tips, I‘m your girl :) I’m not into clubbing that much since I get overstimulated easily so I probably won’t have any good recs for that (I could ask my friends for that though). but I’m always down for a drink at a bar, an ice cream in the park or a picnic at the lake. after going around the world solo once and traveling to about 30 countries I‘d say I‘m able to help with any of that as well :) I am the happiest with salty hair, a tan, the sound of the ocean nearby, a mask and fins or a good book and of course with friendly, loving and inspiring people or sweet animals around 🤙🏼 instagram: @lena_noack
