Düsseldorf is pretty safe. Stay away from the train station, Hauptbahnhof, and Worringer Platz. The city center is safe. I usually walk after dark without any problems. But sometimes you could come across strang people

The region around Dusseldorf is beautiful and in general safe. Obviously there are areas in a city where it is vetter not to be walking alone and at the evening. And I recommend just like always to be aware of your surroundings. In general I feel comfortable here.
Posted: February 15, 2025Düsseldorf is a big city with many tourists. There are some picpokets so you need to have a look on your bags always. The people are friendly and caring but you shouldnt walk alone at night. There is no need to be worried.
Posted: February 10, 2025Düsseldorf is generally quite a safe city. But one needs to be careful in certain neighborhoods, for example areas around the main railway station (excluding the Japanese district, that's is safe). Be careful when walking at night.
Posted: February 10, 2025Düsseldorf is already safe. Few people just come up and talk to you, etc. However, you should still be careful in bars/clubs, as men will be men. If anything happens, there are people who will help you.

As always and everywhere: it depends on the districts you‘re going to. All in all I would consider Düsseldorf a safe city. There is always police and social workers going around Altstadt (old town, a place to go out, bars etc) on weekends.
Posted: January 26, 2025I think it’s quite save in Germany in general and so it is in Düsseldorf. Although there are areas you maybe should be more aware as a women especially at night (Altstadt) but it’s not like you have to be worried that something’s gonna happen.

Düsseldorf is pretty safe. But it also depends where you are and at what time. For example I’m not that worried to walk around during the night from my work to my home. But if you are walking around the main train station or Worringer Platz then I’d be careful. Also if you are in a club there is a possibility of getting harassed, but they do back of. So it’s probably more fun to go to a Karaoke bar (one of the Irish pubs) to sing and drink, since the people are sometimes just nicer:)
Posted: January 20, 2025Düsseldorf is a nice place to visit actually. Here is not a lot to do, but if you wanna go shopping, make your cute pictures with an iced matcha latte at a nice spot, its definetly a place to be. Text me if you need some inspo for food spots ✨.

Düsseldorf is a big beautiful city and has unlike few different parts. The area around central train station is not that peaceful and it is a bit chaos but when you get out of that zone it feels very safe, aristocrat and worth visiting

I felt safe but I was also there for 24hrs. There was a lot of places to walk to but I felt limited with choice of things to see. I would definetly recommend the Old Town in the evening for a drink and food.

Germany
Düsseldorf is literally the prettiest city in Germany I’ve visited so far!’ The buildings are huge and pretty, you’ve got a mix of old architecture that reminds me of Paris and you’ve got modern buildings too! The park is super pretty, it’s very safe, the promenade around Rhein is just stunning! It’s super lively and they’ve got lots of cafes and bars next to the Rhein blasting music and people are just having fun ✨

Heyy I really enjoy traveling and getting to know new cultures. So I’d love to get in contact with new people. 🙌🏻☺️ Generally I like to go to different museums/cafés/restaurants 🪴and try out new activities if I find some free time. Cause usually I’m working part time at a cinema and I’m studying to become a physician assistance. Well my next trip is to Valencia 14th-17th feb. Hit me up if you explore something there together 🥰
