I feel like Toulouse is a pretty safe city. Obviously as a woman I never feel 100% safe walking alone at night and in the transportation but overall I find it safe and I don't worry about being robbed, harrassed and bothered that much

Beaune is quite a safe city in France compared to the big cities since it attracts mostly rich tourists. And people living here are rich people worling in the wine industry, meaning that there are only a few bad people. I never felt unsafe when walking alone, even at night. I just think that you should still be careful.

Lille is quite a safe city overall, but like all big cities, it depends on the neighborhoods. Grand Place, Place de la République, and Rue Solférino are very safe; there are always lots of people around, which helps prevent problems. To avoid: Lille Sud, Porte de Douai, Porte de Valenciennes, and Porte d’Arras late at night. The area around the train station is mixed; you’ll often be approached, especially by people living on the street if you have a cigarette in your hand, but it’s never very malicious.
Posted: June 30, 2025Paris is a Nice city and very safe in my opinion if you stay in the nice districts. As long as you are carefull there Will be no problem even a a women. I never had any problem in Paris intra-muros but be careful if you go to châtelet or cheteau d’eau/ Château Rouge.

Even though i never experienced any type of assault but I saw people complaining about crimes like girls being injected with substances without consent in public places like streets or in festivals. So wherever you are I think it’s always better to be careful and attentive.

We went hiking there for a long weekend and it was really great! Of course, the raclette and fondues were an unforgettable bonus, but above all the landscapes are magnificent (no surprise with Mont Blanc) and really make you want to go back.
Posted: June 28, 2025I really enjoyed my time in France, I visited Paris, Versailles and the home town of Monet. Everything was really nice, and the french people were nice. I was on a low budget so unfortunately I didn't had many occasions to try local food.
