Depends on the place, some are completely safe or almost, some others aren't at all, it really depends. But always stay alert, especially when taking the subway, etc. about pickpockets. And be careful, I wouldn't recommend walking alone after dark in Paris.
Posted: March 2, 2025Globally really safe. It is better to pay attention at night and in public transport bacause there are a few stealer/ pickpockets around. Also depend on where you ar in Ile de France. Some part are a bit tricky at night, avoid north paris.

I think Paris is no safer than any other city in the world, you have to be careful but nothing is guaranteed. Not going home alone at night, being careful in public transport, always keeping an eye on your belongings, especially as a woman.
Posted: February 15, 2025I have lived here for 6 months and never witnessed and kind of crime or delictual conduct. Except for metro card fraud or some small fights. But I don’t go out feel safe and I am not scared at all Even as a woman.
Posted: February 14, 2025I enjoyed my vacation in france during summer , thus , it was really expensive, my budget was 600€ for one month but it wasnt enough ( hotels and food not included because i was staying at family’s house) . Transportation via metro was very comfortable and punctual and it was affordable ,there also were bikes everywhere that you could rent . Nightlife was great
