Posted: July 11, 2025Pretty much safe around the central areas however in some area for example monmqrtre is not really safe and in general there are homeless people everywhere. They're are not gonna talk to you or disturb.
Posted: July 10, 2025I live in Paris since a young age and love this City. It can be seen as a dangerous city because of the men which can be rude, and harasser. But im use to it so i know how to react. Beside this, there is always a lot of people in the street of Paris, even at 2am so its confort girls the night. If you need some advice tell me!
Posted: July 8, 2025Paris is a Nice city and very safe in my opinion if you stay in the nice districts. As long as you are carefull there Will be no problem even a a women. I never had any problem in Paris intra-muros but be careful if you go to châtelet or cheteau d’eau/ Château Rouge.
Posted: June 28, 2025In Paris, as a woman, it feels really unsafe to take public transport to return home after partying, after paying attention to all the freaky men in the nightclubs. Although I'm used to it, having grown up and always lived in the Paris region, I don't feel entirely confident in certain areas of Paris, like the Stalingrad or Belleville districts, or Bonne Nouvelle. Always carrying a means of self-defense in my bag in case of an attack, we're careful with friends when we go out, we prefer taxis (Heetch, Uber, Bolt) in the evening, and we text each other to let them know we got home safely! These are some good habits to adopt to fully enjoy life, day and night, in Paris!
Posted: June 26, 2025I have lived in Paris for two years and been to most arrondissements. Safety levels vary per area. In general in central Paris, in the most touristy areas, the biggest threat is getting pickpocketed - especially if you look like the stereotypical tourist. However, in the banlieues and in the notorious 'ghetto' zones, it's a different story. Some areas after dark are no-go zones especially for females (Saint-Denis, Argenteuil, Clichy). I have also felt tense many times in the Paris Nord station. But even in safer neighborhoods like Levallois or La Garenne Colombes, unfortunately I have experienced catcalling and sketchy looks in broad daylight and with people around. So it really depends on who you're going to bump into. Paris is a great western metropolitan city, but in my experience it overall lags behind other European capitals in terms of safety. Take care girls :)

everything was great, but I didn’t feel safe at all with this kind of people around (and I’m not talking about homeless or smth) - just french people in general seemed very rude and disrespectful, didn’t make my experience too bad tho
Posted: July 10, 2025I love Paris, I’ve been there for a year and it’s an amazing city, there’s always something new, beautiful spots and DELICIOUS FOOD, people are most of the time kind if you can speak their language and ask kindly for help.
