On my street only one house got robbed, except that I wouldn't be scared to go at the night alone for a walk, you can go alone without a problem, I saw people doing it even at 23, but it wasn't the center of Bremen, i was living 10 minut by car from the center, overall I recommend this place, i really felt okay
Posted: May 29, 2025Some parts of it like the far western or eastern part could be bit dark and unsafe but city centre is pretty ok. Also, near the central station is very busy and sometimes there are aggressive beggars or addicts, but I haven't experienced any bad situation yet.

I’m living a bit outside the city center. It’s very safe there, and there’s almost no crime. In the city center, however, it’s a bit less safe. If you go out during the day, you don’t have to worry. At night, you should try to go in a group or tay in public and crowded areas
Posted: March 26, 2025Being living here for more than two years and I always feel safe. I have walked in the streets at all hours and wasn’t bothered by anyone. The public transport are also safe. Just take of your bikes as they get stolen a lot.

Despite the fact that we have the most crimes in Germany I feel quite save. But I also always talk to the people that are doing drugs in the streets, because I know how easy one can get there. So I am not a scared person… I think I mostly feel save because I am a trainer for Muay Thai and did some Krav magah… Sometimes there are assholes that want to harass with their words, on weekends the drunk guys try to flirt but are quite bad at it. Just keep your distance and give some death stares, it makes them insecure… should help in most cases.

Bremen is an extremly safe city. You can go mostly everywhere without having fear. But for the Train Station youhave to be a bit careful since some people are taking drugs there. The people are usually very friendly and careful so you don’t have to worry.
Posted: February 4, 2025I felt safe, Bremen has a lot of horse farms to offer, you can learn to ride and after lessons swim in the river that flows through the whole of Bremen, I think it's a great location for solo travel because there are many green pastures and warm people, you can make friends by going outside where people do different kind of sports, I recommend Wasserhorst in Bremen, was best.
