Bremen 2025: great beer and coffee, friendly climbing gym, beautiful architecture and perfect routes for running. Warm days, relaxed pace, cosy cafés and an easy city to enjoy actively outside Summer.
Posted: February 18, 2026Experienced: February, 2025I felt safe, Bremen has a lot of horse farms to offer, you can learn to ride and after lessons swim in the river that flows through the whole of Bremen, I think it's a great location for solo travel because there are many green pastures and warm people, you can make friends by going outside where people do different kind of sports, I recommend Wasserhorst in Bremen, was best.

Overall Bremen is a small city with a cozy vibe, river, parks and alternative spots with bars, cafes and art. But be aware at night in certain area as central Station or Gröpelingen or weirdos at Viertel (Sielwall)
Posted: February 19, 2026In Germany, Bremen is not considered as a safe city. But living here right now, i would say that it's really okay !! Nothing will happen to you, even though they are some weird people... especially around the train station.
Posted: February 11, 2026a lot of drug addicts and criminal elements. you won’t feel safe while going anywhere close to HBF alone. Weird group of people don’t stop staring, might shout something to you, homeless are very common and i personally once faced a situation when a dirty looking man started filming me.

For English and spanish scroll a little bit Hi ich bin Johanna! // Hi, I'm Johanna! I'm currently writing my master's thesis in Sustainable Food Systems. I live near Bremen (easily accessible by train). At the moment, I'm also working part-time in organic production control for organic producers in Germany. When I have free time, I like to visit friends from Erasmus! I did that in Tenerife. I am open to lots of activities, I really enjoy hiking, and all kinds of animals (if you have any)! There is a guest room in our flat share. If you come to visit me, you would have your own room. // ¡Hola, soy Johanna! Si vienes a visitarme, tendrás tu propia habitación.

Hey, my name is Luise and I am 22 years old and i come from Germany. I would say that I am a very happy and open person who laughs and smiles a lot. I am happy when I meet new people. I am a little writing and reading mouse and enjoy the little things in life, like sunsets or dancing in the rain and much more. I also love deep conversations and could just talk for a long time about philosophy, psychology, politics or life. At the moment I travel a lot and enjoy discovering the world and how different cultures and people are.
