I would definetly say that Bremen is one of the most unsafe cities for women in northern germany. Especially when you go clubbing, you should know that you‘ll be touched at least one time at that evening. Its very sad because I love Bremen, but its the truth..

I think it makes a big difference whether you travel at night or during the day and the individual districts differ greatly from one another. Bremen center is one of the areas where I no longer want to be out and about alone at night as a woman. I have (rarely) experienced sexual harassment when I am outside in the evening or night. Compared to other countries, however, it may still be safer in Bremen. I lack experience there.

About Me

Hey Girls 🌼☀️ I‘m Denise from Bremen Germany. I like traveling, meeting new people, sightseeing, dancing and being in nature. I also like to learn about other cultures and food 🍱🥙🍦. I love animals. I have two cats at home 🐱💕 I‘m not a typical backpacker. I can’t imagine sleeping in hostels anymore 😅 This is my second time traveling alone, still pretty exciting 😁🙈. I look forward meeting new people. Maybe we can explore the city together 🌆, go clubbing 💃, or just have a coffee on a nice place ☕️☺️ (my english is not the best 🙈🙈).

About me

Hi I’m Katrin and I’m originally from Bavaria in Germany. I used to live somewhere close to Munich but I moved to Bremen a few years ago to start studying Art therapy. I finished my 5 semester in March but decided to take a break and continue in September again. Before that I used to be an Aupair in the US and I lived with an American family for a whole year in Portland, Oregon. I watched 3 kids and we had a great connection, that’s why I’m back visiting them for my 3rd time now. I am very easy going person in general and I love good conversations and listen to peoples stories. I’m very interested in getting to know people from all over the world and see the different lifestyles. I’m usually very social but I also don’t mind being left alone and spent time with myself. You would find me sitting somewhere outside and either scribe in my scratch book or read.
