Bremen is overall a quite safe town. It's not too large and there are many neighbourhoods where you really don't have to worry about anything happening to you. Areas I would deem more dangerous would be around the main station, but really only at night. During the daytime you are almost 100% safe in every part of the city.

I would definetly say that Bremen is one of the most unsafe cities for women in northern germany. Especially when you go clubbing, you should know that you‘ll be touched at least one time at that evening. Its very sad because I love Bremen, but its the truth..

About me

Hi I’m Katrin and I’m originally from Bavaria in Germany. I used to live somewhere close to Munich but I moved to Bremen a few years ago to start studying Art therapy. I finished my 5 semester in March but decided to take a break and continue in September again. Before that I used to be an Aupair in the US and I lived with an American family for a whole year in Portland, Oregon. I watched 3 kids and we had a great connection, that’s why I’m back visiting them for my 3rd time now. I am very easy going person in general and I love good conversations and listen to peoples stories. I’m very interested in getting to know people from all over the world and see the different lifestyles. I’m usually very social but I also don’t mind being left alone and spent time with myself. You would find me sitting somewhere outside and either scribe in my scratch book or read.
