Is Torun Safe for Women? Crime Rate in Torun

I think that Torun is a safe place. I have never had a problem coming home in the evening. As anywhere, I do not recommend walking alone at night through dark streets. People usually don't bother you.

Torun is my hometown, traveling around the world let me realise that this city is one of the safest place I have ever been / lived People are trying to communicate in English, but its not that common still, so a bit knowledge of Polish or translator would be nice

most parts of the city are quite safe, but there are some zones in the city that are filled with man just siting on the streets at 2 am drinking and screaming things to girls walking by. but since i live here i never heard any of my friends getting hurt or anything

Toruń is not the biggest town and I feel very safe here. Although I would always consider taking a friend when I go out to the old town after dark. There are some neighbourhoods where I would advise going, but it's usually suburbs.

Toruń is rather safe. Walking after dark alone makes me a little worried only in certain parts of town that are not touristic at all. Avoid football fans though, as they can be intense. Taxis and public transport is safe. Use common sense and you'll be fine for sure!

You can walk in the street and forest when you want. In the old town side have some homeless people but they didn’t do anything to me or I didn’t saw. Don’t go to outside Sunday. Nobody in the street.
