Atmosphere is quite safe. You can go anywhere without fear. You can use public transport, go to public places. I have never experienced any harassment. There are also careful drivers and not many car accidents
Posted: August 28, 2024Szczecin is the city located near to the Berlin so that there is a lot of opportunities if it comes to travelling. If it comes to the safety I’ve never experienced any kind of harassment. The only thing you should be a little bit worried is people under the influence of alcohol because polish culture is based on vodka. If you know how to handle drunk people there should be no problem for you.
Posted: August 24, 2024Very safe place, as always is better being careful, but I’ve never seen anything dangerous in my city. It’s better to avoid walking alone in the city center by nights but suburbs are very safety, could be a little dangerous for not european-looking people or wearing hijab (racism)
Posted: August 12, 2024Szczecin is a relatively calm city that is very family oriented. There are lots of parks and cafes, bike paths, and public transport is quite easy and safe. Although Szczecin lacks diversity and English is not widely spoken, it still feels very safe and easy to navigate.
