It is really safe city, it’s kinda boring and nothing to do here but I Never be afraid of tragedy. It is empty city at night, the clubs are also safe and it is great to have fun. People are mean but not dangerous

it’s not bad, we have a pretty homophobic society but i dont feel danger being out with my girlfriend and the crime rate overall is pretty low. of course there’s harassment towards women everywhere but i wouldn’t consider Poland to be really dangerous

I think that it is quite safe but sometimes we see some dangerous people around us. Especially men in football club t-shirts because they are aggressive I better keep distance from them if you see someone like that

Krakow is very safe place to be. People are nice, you’d hardly ever hear men catcalling, especially throughout day time. You would hardly ever be robbed, let alone mugged. Nevertheless it applies only to the day time. At night I don’t feel safe at all. It’s alright when you are with your male friends, but if you are alone or with your female friends, it can be dangerous as many drunk men are walking, people can try to talk to you and all unpleasant pictures you can imagine. Last time I was going home from the trip at 4 a.m., and was asked by an old man if I wanted to be ripped. Also when I and my female friends were walking around the city at night, more than one group of men or boys would approach us and try to talk to us. But I have never faced such situations in the afternoon/morning.
Posted: March 5, 2025Having called Warsaw home for over six years now, I can confidently say it’s an incredibly safe city for a woman living alone. The well-connected public transport, well-lit streets, and overall sense of security make getting around feel effortless, even late at night. People are respectful, and there’s a quiet comfort in knowing you can go about your day without worry. It’s the kind of city that lets you embrace independence while still feeling at ease.
Posted: March 5, 2025In general Poland is pretty safe for female travelers. Petty crime is practically nonexistent. Also there haven't been any terrorist attacks in this country, and that's a big plus for me. And I haven't experienced catcalling. But keep in mind that Poland is one of the most conservative countries in Europe, and a lot of people here are very against LGBTQ people.
Posted: March 4, 2025Poland is a really safe country even for a solo walk at night. You always have to be careful but crime rate is very low and personally I don't feel unsafe :) Public transport is also great, clean and well organised so don't be stressed about using it

Sosnowiec is generally very safe, it also depends on the neighborhood, but as long as you avoid walking at night in Pogoń or Niwka, everything should be fine. I live in Zagórze and I think it's the safest there.

I live here since I can remember and never in my life something happened to me. Of course it depends on what kind of people you’ll meet, but in daylight there’s actually nothing to worry about:D But it’s still better to be careful🫶
