Poznan

Poznan, as most of Poland, is very safe. I am a woman and I walk / take public transport by myself regularly and I do not feel frightened. There might be some drunk person here and there but just ignore them and you should be fine.

Rzeszow

I think Rzeszow is a small town in Poland and people here are nice. They won't make you feel anxious etc. If you ask me Rzeszow is a very safe town. The locals are friendly and I've felt welcomed since I came here. Recommended 👍👍❤️

Wroclaw

It’s good for girls, guys usually don’t bother you. There is not so much immigrants, also Polish people are so nice and helpful, but sometimes older people can’t understand you in English. But everyone are always kind :)

Krakow

The most safe big city in one of the most safe European country! Almost zero illigal imigrants so no one is annonymous. People behave well, huge social awarness. People keen to help and there are many mobile apps to help you with public transport, finding cool places and local attractions.

gmina Sobolew

They have a police station in area. There is none of dangerous or people who want to hurt you on purpose. Only sometimes drunk homeless can show up, but even then he will be telling you a better complements than your boyfriend

Poland

Mid-aged men are really creepy and sometimes they approach you without your permission but other than that I don't feel that safe, over than as l can see in traditional societies tend to show violence.

Wroclaw

In my opinion, Wrocław is a generally safe city. Of course, as everywhere, there are neighbourhoods more or less safe, more and less crowded spots, but from my own experience I can say that if you are prudent and reasonable, you don't go to suspicious places at night, it's perfectly okay. There could be sometimes at night loud or strange people, who might seem to be dangerous, but if you keep distance and don’t interact, everything will be okay.

Lublin

Lublin is very safe, most of the residents are students and elderly people, most of the accidents are car collisions. I often go out at night and I am not afraid of safety. You have to be careful like everywhere but that's all

Krakow

I live in Cracow for 4 years now and nothing happened to me and to any of my friends. Many times I have been coming back home at night from city centre and I always felt safe. In the city centre at night there is a lot of drunken people, because there is a lot of bars and pubs, but they’re just laud. It’s natural to be careful, but in general there is not a lot of issues there.

Is Poland worth visiting?

Travel rating

4.7 /5

Krakow, Group travel

It was really safe as two women with my friend. We really liked how people minded their own business the whole time lol. You can see ancient places, if you like museums a lot(especially aviation) I recommend you to go see Kraków. We went there by train from Rzeszów for just 20 zł as students! Highly recommend!!!!!
