Generaly it's safe city. Of course there are areas which should be avoided in the Night, but at average level, as everywhere, I believe. Around public places of nightlife I feel safe and don't have a problem to walk or take Uber/bolt alone home.

I think Poznań is a very safe city especially when it comes to nightlife. There are a few areas that are questionable but as long as you stay in the city centre I did not experience many bad situations here
Posted: August 11, 2025From my experience living and exploring Wrocław, I can say it’s a pretty safe city overall. During the day, walking around the Old Town, markets, and parks felt very comfortable and secure. At night, I’d still be cautious in quieter areas, but generally, the city feels welcoming and safe for solo travelers and students like me.

I feel very safe in Gdansk, there is maybe couple places that’s are not grey at night alone but even then nothing ever happen to me or my friends. Public transport is safe, if there is something I would worry about it is only drunk people.
Posted: August 9, 2025In my opinion Rzeszów is really safe to other people mainly women. I use the public transport everyday and I dont have any unpleasant situations. Locals here are a very kind and helpful. When I go back to my home after work in dark i feel really safe.

Warsaw is the safest capital city in Europe. Comparing to Rome or Berlin its another level of safe. The public transport works very well and is safe. I’m not scared to walk alone at night when it comes to city center. Some districts like praga północ might be less safe but not specifically.

It was quite safe. I stayed in a hostel where they had mixed rooms- but during most of the stay they only had women in that room. I ventured into the mountains alone. Not sure about the people knowing english there - I used broken polish to communicate because I had the feeling no one would understand english. Keep in mind that big stores are closed on sundays so buy your food early!!
Posted: August 6, 2025I felt really safe in this city. It is also more of a small city with not too many tourists. There are not too many activities to do, but the shopping malls and prices are really good. I enjoyed this trip a lot.
