Generaly it's safe city. Of course there are areas which should be avoided in the Night, but at average level, as everywhere, I believe. Around public places of nightlife I feel safe and don't have a problem to walk or take Uber/bolt alone home.

Warsaw is the safest capital city in Europe. Comparing to Rome or Berlin its another level of safe. The public transport works very well and is safe. I’m not scared to walk alone at night when it comes to city center. Some districts like praga północ might be less safe but not specifically.
Posted: August 6, 2025As long as you stay in well-lit areas and stay away from people who may be homeless (possible around the city center or train stations), you should be ok. Some areas to look out for are the Praga district, Central station, and West railway station bus stop - usually it’s ok, but a language barrier could cause an unnecessary conflict
Posted: August 5, 2025Warsaw is a safe city but it also depends in the area and time of day. As a native I feel generally safe, especially in popular areas. I would be uneasy during the nighttime but that’s something I feel everywhere in the world.

I've visited almost 30 countries around the world, and I've never felt as safe as I do in my homeland, especially in its capital. It's clean and safe. Everyone seems to be minding their own business. Poland is considered the safest country in Europe, that’s 100% true!
Posted: August 3, 2025In general I would say it’s safe. Public transport is really good, but sometimes in the dark weird people might enter. Just avoid Praga area, others are good in my point of view - I especially like Wola or the center. 😊

I felt really safe during the trip, it's a really beautiful city. Definitely going for a next trip again. The people are very friendly and there are many different activities to do, also in the night time.

I had a great time in Warsaw and thought the city was super safe and easy to navigate. I ended up taking several Bolt taxis and never felt unsafe in any of them. The public transportation was also very clean and easy to understand. The Uprising Museum was probably my favorite thing I did and I also enjoyed walking around the old city and some of the parks. Oh and I made sure to eat a ton of pierogis, which were all delicious.
