It’s a very safe space even after sundown, i don’t feel threatened in the city center or anywhere near it. The suburbs are a bit more dangerous though, so if you plan on visiting nearby cities you should check with locals for advise!
Posted: June 13, 2025Warsaw is a very safe and welcoming city. I live here and often walk around alone, even in the evening, and I always feel calm and comfortable. Public transport is reliable, the streets are well-lit, and people are generally friendly. If you’re visiting, don’t worry – it’s a great place for solo female travelers. I’d be happy to meet up, share local tips, or show you around

I have lived in Warsaw all my life, and I’ve never felt threatened or witnessed any kind of attack. Overall, I find the city to be safe, especially in well-populated areas and during the daytime. Public transportation is generally reliable and safe, although, like in any big city, it’s always wise to stay aware of your belongings, particularly in crowded places. At night, certain neighborhoods might feel less comfortable to walk through alone, but with basic precautions, I personally haven’t had any negative experiences.

Warsaw is big city but you can feel very safe here. I never felt worried even when going back on my own late. Obviously you have to be responsible and follow normal rules as you would do elsewhere. You don’t have to be scared of your phone lying on the restaurant table, no one going to steal it.
Posted: June 7, 2025I think Warsaw is very safe, of course it depends on the part of the city but mostly it’s very quiet and safe. you can see quite a few police officers on the streets keeping peace as well as everything is cleaned. There are no homeless people on the streets ( in the centres of the city)

I would say that Its pretty safe for women here compared to other European countries, but still it depends I think you should protect yourself and always take care no matter which country are you live in or visit! There is no bad country, but there are bad people

I recommend „Hala Koszyki”. A food court which has the cousins from around the world. Everyone will find something for themselves. Old town is so so so pretty and the subway works really well. There’s a lot more to see like Muzeum Kopernika :)

For me, the city of Warsaw is very beautiful, unfortunately I didn't like it because of the hustle and bustle🙃 On my next trip I'm thinking of going to Gdansk and make the most of this summer with my son 👶
