You can feel safe all night in public especially when you're with another person. Strangers always help if you have a problem. You don't have to worry about getting uber late at night, for me it was always peaceful and safe.

During the day it's a safe place, especially if you're not traveling alone. At night I'd be afraid to travel alone, although nothing bad has ever happened to me. Traveling in pairs should scare away potential attackers.
Posted: March 26, 2025I think Warsaw is overall safe. Poland though is not the friendliest when it comes to minorities - you may get called slurs if you are visibly queer or a poc (mainly by young boys). However, it’s not up to the point where you would feel unsafe.

I feel like the safety is similar to every big city. There’s a lot of people so there’s a bigger chance of meeting someone with ill intentions. I think as long as you don’t put yourself in risky situations in general the city is pretty safe, however u always need to be careful (like everywhere else i think). I personally never had any bad experiences there but I’ve heard a lot of stories of people who did so it’s always better to stay aware of your surroundings and stay careful

People in the Warsaw metro may seem grumpy, but they’re mostly minding their own business. The most plausible scenario of someone touching you on the streets is during winter, if your coat is opened and your scarf is not wrapped up around your neck, a grandma might come up to you and give you a lesson about how you’ll catch a cold and then she’ll wrap your scarf and close your coat 😂 (this is a true story btw) Of course some drunk guys may try to flirt in bars/clubs but never has one been aggressive or pushy towards me in Warsaw!
Posted: March 16, 2025In my opinion Warsaw is safe destination when you have an respect to everyone and don’t make noice or being rude to the others then I think no one will make a trouble to you. You can feel safe and explore the city 😊

Warsaw is very safe in general but you never know who you will bump into and if they are high. Especially if you look pretty you must be careful and I’d rather choose uber over public transport. Having a pepper spray makes me somehow feel safer (I never had to use it and I hope it will stay like this)
Posted: March 9, 2025Having called Warsaw home for over six years now, I can confidently say it’s an incredibly safe city for a woman living alone. The well-connected public transport, well-lit streets, and overall sense of security make getting around feel effortless, even late at night. People are respectful, and there’s a quiet comfort in knowing you can go about your day without worry. It’s the kind of city that lets you embrace independence while still feeling at ease.
Posted: March 5, 2025Extremely safe, both during the day and during the night (I don’t party though, so can’t say about this part). It’s safe to solo travel or to wear absolutely anything u want. Public transport super clean and safe as well

I feel really save in Warsaw. Of course sometimes some crime can happen but I’m not scared of walking alone or using public transport. Even when im wearing my headphones i feel save walking after dawn.

I felt safe, but at times I was a bit anxious. I mostly traveled alone, but a relative who lives there had already told me about the most popular and must-see places. 1. Muzeum Narodowe 2. The Royal Lazienki Museum 3. Museum/Palace Wilanow 4. Museum Fryderyka Chopina … I couldn’t quite enjoy the food. There was one place I loved, though, and I visited it multiple times to have pizza: Pizza by the Slice👌🏻
Posted: February 11, 2025We (3 girls) did not feel safe at all. We were visiting for only one day, but that was still enough for us to be assaulted by men 3 times and once we had to report an exhibicionist in a late night bus. Disgusting experience, i trust polish men no more

Hi! I’m Laura ☀️ I’m a first year sociology student who works remotely and I want to explore some place this summer a little bit more. Last year I did a month of travelling through Europe and I caught a maajor travel bug 🐛 A little bit more about myself: - My interests are around sociology, psychology, people in general - Social work is a big part of my life - I’ve been a volunteer in a few organisations throughout the years, mostly about education, youth, animal right and climate and I also work in a home education school 🏫 - I love to learn about anything and everything that peaks my interest, right now I’m learning Japanese and I plan trips even when I don’t have concrete plans for them - I’m veery passionate about food 🥪 I love visiting new places and trying new things, but I’m also a pretty decent cook. I’m vegan myself, but if you are not - that’s perfectly okay! - I used to be not very sociable, but right now I find so much fulfilment in fostering new connections - that is also a big reason I joined this community! Hopefully I’ll be able to meet some of you and I’ll be able to share much more about myself than I could possibly write here, but also get to know you 🤩 I’m in a place where I’m wondering (and kind of worrying) a lot about my future and exploring a lot of possibilities - that is also one of the reasons I want to travel and meet various people, I think that’s the best way to learn (about life in general) ☺️ Thank you for reading! Hope to hear from you 🫶
