It is pretty safe for girls and women in Warsaw. There are lights everywhere at night in the city centre. I live here for two years already and I had no dangerous or unpleasant situations. A year ago I could work till 1a.m., and came home by night buses and felt pretty safety.

Overall it's a very safe city. I'd just advise to be careful in the evening and at night because there may be some drunk or not sane people walking in some areas (and that is never safe). BUT even if you're travelling at night and using public transport - you don't need to worry much.

Generally I'd say it is quite safe. I'd be more cautious around Praga district and not go there alone when it's dark, especially if you don't know the area. Be cautious around the central train station too, in the Śródmieście there can be some shady people, but I don't see dangerous situations often. If you're interested in the old town, usually there aren't huge crowds and I've never felt unsafe there.

We dony have to hide bags in public transport to avoid robbery, at night is generally safe, in some events there are more police officers, you can order Uber for women for more safety (most of drivers are foreign).
Posted: October 12, 2024Warsaw is quite safe town (as all Poland), I live there since years and I feel very safe here. Also I met a few solo female travelers here and as far as I know they all felt safe and never been in denger here.

Warsaw is very clean and safe city. Very good transportation. I truly recommend for staying. Very nice and safe place for night life as well as culture life. Excellent restaurants and bar. Still cheaper than other European capital and the quality is excellent
Posted: October 9, 2024warsaw, but in general Poland, is a safe place for women. i can easily go out no matter what time is it, and i know for a fact that nothing bad will happen to me. as a side bonus, there’s always police men in the street so that makes me feel much more safe.
Posted: September 13, 2024Warsaw, Poland is a city where I feel very safe as a woman. Taking the bus at night is not considered risky here and overall crime is not common. It is always best to have your wits about you but I can honestly say that having traveled through much of Europe and the US, Poland is much safer than most of the places I have been to.
Posted: September 8, 2024Its very safe european town Women are respected People are not bothering Police is doing good job Grimes are very rarelly Only be carefull in clubs I think you will feel safe here Norhing is happening to strangers
Posted: September 5, 2024Warsaw is very safe for women, but of course you can never exclude the possibility of pickpocketing or catcalling. Some sexual assault incidents have been recently reported in Ubers, but I personally have never experienved issues.

Super cheap and ate very good. Got a good hostel 30 seconds away to a huge club street. Like 10 minutes from the main area of the city. Enjoyed really cheap fun shots. There was a club named “Havana” nearby. Great club. Wonderful art n very cold. Not a lot of English speakers but can get around easily with just saying Kurwa.
Posted: August 18, 2024I liked Warsaw. This city is so calm. Young generation know English and they are helpful. Food is avarage but I came from Turkey so I may felt that because of the awesomeness of Turkish cuisine. Public transportation is so easy and cheap. If you stay 1 month I recommend you get a 1 month public transportation card
