I have never felt unsafe in Warsaw. It does not matter if you come home during the day or at 4am, no one will ever come to bother you. Of course it is important to still pay attention and not trust random people but you can come to Warsaw and know you will feel safe.

i have never had any issues when it comes to safety in warsaw, also once i read in an article that poland has one of the lowest crime rates in europe, but i think that you should stay alert at all time no matter where you are and how safe you feel (remember, better to be safe than sorry)
Posted: January 21, 2025I would say it is safer in the city centre than in the suburbs or Praga Północ. In the suburbs are many drunk old men(once I was on a late walk with my dog and two men started to chase me and were following me for good 15minutes). I would say it’s safer to travel here with somebody.
Posted: January 19, 2025Warsaw is known as one of the safest cities in Europe. The crime rate is low, homeless people aren’t aggressive and you won’t meet anyone here who is under influence of forbidden substances. I always feel safe even while going home in the middle of the night
Posted: January 19, 2025I have been to Warsaw many times and twice I experienced unpleasant situations of being judged and stared at in a strange way on public transport. It wasn't anything dangerous, just more uncomfortable. Other than that, it's a very pleasant city worth visiting, and people are mostly really nice.

Warsaw is a remotely safe city. I never experienced any harassment or danger from strangers. Even in the public transport at night it is quite safe. You should be more careful in the city centre, because of the homeless people, but during the day, there is almost nothing to worry about. But always be careful :)
Posted: January 15, 2025A lot of times, I walk around the city at night and always feel very safe. Of course, if it is not a park or some forest. Whole my life I live in the center of the city, so here I feel very safe. I can't say about another districts. But Warsaw it is one of the safest cities.
Posted: January 13, 2025Warsaw is generally safe for women. Daytime is secure in busy areas like Old Town and on public transport. At night, stick to well-lit areas; avoid deserted spots. Use taxis or ride apps if needed. Petty crime is rare but stay alert. Trust instincts and take basic precautions.
Posted: January 11, 2025I think Warsaw is a very safe city overall. I always feel comfortable and secure walking around, even in the evenings or at night. Of course, like in any big city, things can happen sometimes, but in general, Warsaw feels safe to me. People here are friendly, and the streets are well-lit and active. It’s definitely a place where I feel at ease.

I like living in Warsaw as it is very safe place for me. As a woman I never faced any issues last 1 year. Poland in general is a safe place. You just need to take a taxi back home when going out at night. Crime rate is quite low.

We (3 girls) did not feel safe at all. We were visiting for only one day, but that was still enough for us to be assaulted by men 3 times and once we had to report an exhibicionist in a late night bus. Disgusting experience, i trust polish men no more

Warsaw is a safe place for women traveling alone. I travel there very often due to university. It is super easy to get around as public transportation is comfortable and organized. You can download the app Jakdojade to get around Warsaw and you can also buy transportation tickets from there. I always felt safe during the night as well, a part from some drunk men that might approach during the night in the city centre. However, if you just tell them to leave they will leave. It is cheap and there’s many supermarkets named Zabka that sell many quick meal options for cheap.
