Looks not so good estetically, but its safe. I feel comfortable coming back home at night as a woman. You have to be always caferful tho, because no matter where you are something can happen. You can go

Nothing ever happened to me personally, but I would rate the safety of the city 6/10. I heard some stories of robbery and harrassment but never experienced it myself. I also live in the city center and I feel pretty safe walking home at night. However it might be not that safe in the other parts of the city.
Posted: August 1, 2024Katowice over all are a pretty safe place you just need to be carefull around the center after dark also on Mariacka street since its filled with clubs it can be pretty dangerous just remember to be smart and it will be okay!

Poland is generally safe, especially non-tourist destinations like Katowice. There are many parks and attractions but there is no reason to worry about your safety. I wouldn’t recommend visiting Załęże and Szopienice but the rest is absolutely fine.

Hello everyone! ☺️ My name is Julia, I am 24 years old and I live in Poland. I recently started traveling alone. I love meeting new people, talking about travels, interests, exchanging views - in fact, I like talking about everything 😊 I am a very open, friendly and nice person. I don't want to cause any problems to the hosts, I keep order and respect the rules in someone's house. It would be nice to meet you and I hope we could become friends! ❤️ I believe that nothing in life shapes like traveling and I decided to spend this year visiting various places around the world. It would be great to meet people with similar interests 🥳
