Is Torun Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Toruń is renowned for its gingerbread. I feel so safety.People are so lovely and helpful. Here is so historic place. Also the birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus is here. Toruń is a former fortress. Its medieval walls featured 12 gates, over 60 keeps and two barbicans. There are museums. And every places is so close for walking ,If you get out Toruń miesto.

Statistically speaking, Toruń - like Poland as a whole - is considered very safe by international standards. However, be aware that there are some beggars (not many) around Starówka (Old Town) and some of them are not very nice. They can be pretty demanding when asking for money. Generally safe, but the problem is drunk men can try to talk with you and stick to you at night. There aren't many people outside of old town. I've walked from there to my dormitory a few times in the night and felt safe, but still I don't recommend being alone in the nights.

Totally safe it’s a nice small town that you can enjoy history of here. I never came across an incident that happend here. You won’t disappoint that. If someone planning to come here I can easily say %99 safe

I believe that if you do not venture into remote areas and stay on well-lit roads, there is no need to panic. There are men who harass you downtown, just go into the crowd and act naturally. Woman Hours happen in bars in the Old Town.

I think it’s pretty safe but there’s always a chance of something happening like in every other city, people are mostly nice and respectful but there’s some that might be a bit troublesome, in the end i would recommend

Overall I would say it’s a really safe city. I have never been robbed but you never know how is behind you, especially in touristy places so I just have my bag with me. Public transport is very safe even if I come back home around midnight.
