Poznań was on the 1st place on best places to lived in Poland list. People here are very kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to visit and spend some time exploring the city! You are always welcome!
Posted: January 11, 2025of course, unfortunately, there are crimes or harassment here, as in most European cities, but in general you feel safe. but I do not advise walking alone at night anyway. sometimes people who like to drink a lot can harass Ukrainians here both during the day and at night. so in Poznan you should be careful and have pepper spray with you just in case. it is better to avoid the Wilda area and the train station at night
Posted: January 5, 2025Poznan is one of the safest cities in Poland in my opinion. It's very safe to walk after dark, there are no robbers, and it's safe for LGBTQ people as well (this is like a "queer capital" of Poland).

Poznań is a fairly small city, so the crime rate is also low. Of course, there are sometimes incidents, but they are resolved very quickly. People are friendly and understanding, if you don't like something, so don't be afraid to say it right away. Overall, I feel confident here

I think Poznan is one of the safest cities in Poland! It can turn to be a bit uncomfortable to walk around after football matches, but still ok. I walk after dark alone quite often and almost always feel very safe. Still wouldn't harm to have paper?spray with you just in case...Ah and about bad stuff - my bike was once stolen in the city center:(

i dont hear much about crime, sometimes i read about perverts in public transportation but its not really common, i would describe my city rather safe, i personally never experienced any crime and feel safe
Posted: December 25, 2024Poznan can be the safest city in Europe, I travel a lot and while traveling I need to go to the train station, airport or bus station in the early morning such as 3,4,5 a.m which I never felt worried about anything or never came across anything dangerous or harassment. I always feel safe in Poznan especially when I travel another countries which I need to protect my pockets, bags etc. :)

Poznan is pretty safe city. I have been living there for several months and haven’t witnessed any crime problems.I do recommend the city as a travel destination.People are friendly and welcoming.Public transportation is great
Posted: December 15, 2024I’d say that Poznan is rather a safe city. I haven’t had any troubles or issues with people living here. The only reason that I wouldn’t rank it better is that compared to some other cities I know that I have sometimes the sense of unease which comes more from how the city used to be. I live in Jeżyce which used to be more on the dangerous side, now however it’s pretty safe here.

Poznan is a very small, yet very peaceful and beautiful city to visit, if you visit Poland. It is not so touristy, however packed with many amazing things to see. I visited this town with my two friends (both woman) and we felt safer than anywhere else even in the middle of the night. The people are very friendly here, and the prices are low.

Hi! My name is Magdalena, I'm a 19 years old psychology student living in Poznan, Poland 🇵🇱 (a 500k city in the western part of the country). I love travelling across the world, discovering new places and learning about different cultures, preferably while meeting great people and making memories that will stay with me for a long time😊 I'm usually a very active type of traveller - I'm always down for walking tours and sports activities, but also visiting art galleries/ museums to learn about the history of the place that I'm visiting.🎨 I'm more than happy to give advice for anyone who would like to travel to Poland, since I've been in almost every major city, so feel free to ask for anything! ❣ I'm not always available for hosting, but I'm happy to share some space and spend some time together if you ask in advance😊
