Group travel

Poznan is a very small, yet very peaceful and beautiful city to visit, if you visit Poland. It is not so touristy, however packed with many amazing things to see. I visited this town with my two friends (both woman) and we felt safer than anywhere else even in the middle of the night. The people are very friendly here, and the prices are low.

Solo travel

Poznań is wonderful. I was there for 3 nights and I had a fantastic time. It was not at all a tourist-oriented place, their food is really good and I felt very safe there. Additionally, their colorful buildings and market were really beautiful.

I've lived in Poznań for the past 5 years and never had any unsafe situations! I walk a lot, even at night/after going out (there are night buses and ubers, i just love the feeling of the city being way emptier after working hours+get crazy motion sickness so avoid transportation in general) and always feel safe, but if you're anxious Id always reccomend listening to your gut and getting in that uber, safety first! Honestly I've never even heard of anyone getting pick pocketed but ofc Id advise to stay aware in crowded spaces as that can really happen anywhere! I mostly party at queer...

Poznań is generally a very safe city. I feel completely secure here. The police are always patrolling and maintaining order, and the streets are well monitored. The only caution is at night in the city center- there can be groups of drunk people, so it’s better to stay aware and avoid risky situations. Otherwise, life in Poznań is calm, and I’ve never had any problems.

It is safe, also at night, people talk to you but they won't do anything dangerous. The only thing unsafe are car crashes, but that's inevitable. I really do feel safe walking there at night. Really great to visit!

Poznań is beautiful and old city in Poland. Of course there are some areas that are not very safe, like in the most of cities. A lot of places to visit and have fun. I would recommend you old city, cytadela and street święty Marcin

Poznan is really safe, people are friendly. You must be careful when in Poznan it’s football match cause sometimes peoples are drunk but not to often. After dark is also safe, of course better be attentive.
