Poznan is a very small, yet very peaceful and beautiful city to visit, if you visit Poland. It is not so touristy, however packed with many amazing things to see. I visited this town with my two friends (both woman) and we felt safer than anywhere else even in the middle of the night. The people are very friendly here, and the prices are low.

Solo travel

Poznań is wonderful. I was there for 3 nights and I had a fantastic time. It was not at all a tourist-oriented place, their food is really good and I felt very safe there. Additionally, their colorful buildings and market were really beautiful.

I’d say that Poznan is rather a safe city. I haven’t had any troubles or issues with people living here. The only reason that I wouldn’t rank it better is that compared to some other cities I know that I have sometimes the sense of unease which comes more from how the city used to be. I live in Jeżyce which used to be more on the dangerous side, now however it’s pretty safe here.
