It is pretty safe depending on the area you're in but at night it can feel a bit dangerous. If you have a friend or a pepper spray for instance it doesn't feel scary but I just prefer to be prepared in general. People ar pretty kind here
Posted: June 4, 2025Wiesbaden is a very safe city. Some students live here, but mainly older people who are very well-groomed and tend to have a higher status. In the neighborhoods where such people live, one feels comfortable. Along Schwalbacher Straße and at the Platz der deutschen Einheit, it is somewhat unsafe at night, and some homeless people live here. Nevertheless, I feel relatively safe as a local.

Wiesbaden ia a very beautiful and artistic city. It is populated most by students. It doesn't have any clubs but a lot if bars. People are friendly. Most of the locals are olderly people. It is very well connected (through busses trains) and pretty central.
Posted: January 11, 2025Wiesbaden has a beautiful city centre and some nice shops and cultural places to see. There are some areas that women should avoid when walking at night, but overall there are more home robberies (that I personally never experienced neither do I know people personally who did) than assaults on women.
