Hi, went there by train! Had a student Ticket so ist was pretty cheap, would recommend the Deutschland Ticket (49 €/month of Public transport). It's a little annoying that you have to go to Berlin first to go to Potsdam. I went there and found cool artgroups and courses. People were open and I stayed at a friends place. I belive hotels and restaurants are quite pricey there. Keep in mind that there's a time in the night when it's not so easy to go back to Berlin as the busses and trains take...

Potsdam is a very safe city. You can walk there by nighttime. There are some places with maybe strange folks...the central station area ore sometimes the stern and schlaatzarea, where most of the poor poeple live. But there are no crime or drugareas.

Potsdam is a pretty safe city. Nearly everbody is friendly and open-hearted. I never made any other experiences. The „unsafest“ area could be the Potsdam Main Station by night but I think that’s not a big problem because we don’t have much homless (unfriendly!!!) people.

Very safe! You can walk as a woman with no issues! Of course the normal precautions are recommended to ensure you feel well. Public transport will bring you safely home! Enjoy this wonderful place here!

I’m a curious soul, deeply in love with life, light, and nature. I cherish swimming naked in a quiet lake, singing and dancing with joy, and unwinding in the sauna. I’m the proud mother of three grown children and part of a vibrant patchwork family. Above all, I value meaningful, interesting encounters and the magic they bring to life.

Nature and outdoor lover, who also enjoys cultural events🎶 I've been working for a regional tv station for three years, went on my first long solo trip in 2023/2024 - best decision:) - and started going to uni in 2024. I still go out on Mini advetures whenever I can 🌞 In my day to day life, you can most likely find me on my balcony with my plants, trying some new kind of sports, with my friends, reading something about permaculture and alternative livestyles or hiking🏔 (or at uni or work;))
