It‘s a small uni city and most people here are students. I‘d say it‘s moderately safe out here. But there‘s always a chance of being mugged (which happened before) or harassment. Although I‘d say you can walk pretty safely around the city, even at night. As long as you stay in the center area safety seems pretty high, I don’t feel too comfortable walking through the parks at night since there is no light and everything further from city center looks more suspicious to me.
Posted: January 29, 2025Landau is a small city in Rhineland Palatinate. It is full of students and young people. Nevertheless it has problems with drug dealers and poor people but usually you don’t notice these problems. Landau has a big police station and since they moved in a new house they are very present in town.

Landau is a pretty Safe City because it is not that big. Sometimes you get approached by strangers but really not that often and Even if it Happens they stop if you want to. One thing is that when it gets Late there are not many people on the streets so because of that you can feel scared sometimes

Heyy, I‘m Tamara, 19 years old and in my gap year right now☀️! This spring-early summer I will be an au-pair in Madrid🇪🇸. After that I want to use the summer to travel as much as possible before I go studying in fall. I love being spontaneous and meet new people. It is the best thing for me to learn about other cultures, livestyles, opinions and characters💌.

I take pleasure in speaking and learning different languages and meeting people from all around the world. I‘m very open and humorous (I can be quite sarcastic xd) and always down for chit chat at a local cafe.
