Is Greifswald safe for solo female travelers?

Greifswald is generally a very safe town to visit. It has low crime rates and is well-policed. The town is also quite small, so it's difficult to get lost. Furthermore, locals are typically friendly and willing to help if you need directions or assistance. Though, like with any location, it's recommended to use common sense, especially when out late at night.

In daylight I usually always feel safe, with a few people always being around, but not crowded. But I would not walk around central areas alone in the middle of the night, because a few friends have had scary/weird encounters with strange people. But as far as I know nothing bad has happened recently.

In Greifswald living a lot students, families and older people. There are not many people out at night because it is a small town. The streetlights are good and the people are pretty friendly around here.

Greifswald is a small town in the northern east of Germany with 60.000 inhabitants. There are a lot of students in Greifswald which makes it young and comfortable for travelers. Still there are also other people with other points of view so it is not always nice to life there.

It is a small City and overall really Safe. Of course there can be people that can be Pushy but those people exist all around the world and you only meet those people in a club. At Night you only see few people walking the streets
