It's fairly small and mostly occupied by older people. I myself don't worry about my safety outside too much. But it is to say you should avoid some areas like parks and alleys at the late hours. Residents are friendly and helpful, but be aware of the German nature of minding their own business. xD
Posted: August 15, 2024Dessau is a small town near Leipzig. It's known for the infamous Bauhaus, the Bauhaus Museum, and the Master houses. It's also extremely green and peaceful, with the river Elbe the flows through the city. Overall the city is very safe. However, there have been some small instances of racism but that is quite rare.
