Is Brunswick Safe for Women? Crime Rate in Brunswick

Over all I would consider Brunswik a safe town. I've never made a bad experience that's worth mentioning with people here when walking around town. Surely when walking home from Bars or Clubs you should keep an eye open, but I guess thats the case in almost every town ;) What I love about Brunswik is the fact that there are no areas here that you should really try to avoid.

Braunschweig is relatively safe. Its a student city i would say. Even in dark its safe to walk around however its always good to be cautious so stay away from weird strangers esp those homeless drunks on the side of the streets. Avoid being out too late and it should be fine.

Brunswick is a city which some right wing background, that’s why you should not go to specific places at night. But as long as you are not alone it is fine. I don’t visit places with people that are stereotypical so I’m just going to safer spaces and they have a view of those here. At those places it’s more then safe and very comforting!

It’s very Safe. I have no bad experience at all for 4 years. Could be happen that something get stolen, but so far, not happened to me. Maybe it depends which part in Braunschweig you live. My home is very central and in one of the best areas around. I think that’s it.

Brunswick is a fairly small city, thats why the crime rate is relatively low. As far as robberies or attacks on the streets go, you should be fine, but don’t leave your bike unlocked it will get stolen! If you’re going to a club to party it’s a bit different and there’s a higher chance of sexual harassment or assault.

Brunswick is very safe. The people are calm, but you can never be 100% sure about everything. I like to walk alone or with friends and we don‘t feel unsafe. Even going out to the club is not unsafe. People there usually accept a direct no.

I think in general, it can be quite safe, but you should be concerned about getting drugs in your drink or being cat called. This happened to me. Using the public transport, everything is right and people are quite nice. You can always ask them for something. But in general, I think you should be careful.

Brunswick is pretty safe. The Town isn't that Big. I would not go to the area in the west because it might be a bit more dangerous but the rest is perfectly fine. As a woman I walk very often past 0 outside and haven't experienced anything bad
