I went to Paris last year for a college summer elective course. It was a great trip and honestly overwhelming because there's simply so much to see and do. I did end up getting food poisoning on the first day and had to spend a few days lying in bed which wasnt fun. But despite that i managed to visit a lot of places, and some of the highlights were: 1)Going to the top of the eiffel tower at sunset. I honestly did not plan this because i thought it would be overrated but it became a core memory moment. I went just as they were closing, around 11 pm, so there was no line and i managed to get tickets for much cheaper than what i saw online, and the sunset view from the top was beautiful. Not to mention, the tower started sparkling right when i stepped out onto the second floor and it honestly felt magical. 2)Taking a river cruise along the seine. I took this cruise also around sunset so the whole golden hour made it that much more prettier 3)Sainte Chapelle. Having studied about this building in college, it was so cool to get to see it in person. The gothic architecture, stained glass windows...it is gorgeous. 4)Roaming around the streets of montmarte in the evening. Or just simply roaming around the streets of Paris in general. 5)Claude Monet's house and gardens in giverny. It's just a few hours away from Paris and really beautiful. Monet is someone i studied and researched about a lot as part of college assignments so again it was pretty cool to get to see his paintings and the infamous water lillies in person.

Travelled to Paris with a friend. We found many interesting attraction sites and the food was good as well. Contrary to popular belief, I didn’t find the locals rude - perhaps this was an isolated experience. Took great photos and traveled everywhere using the metro. It takes a while to figure the metro system and directions but once you do it’s a breeze. Overall, I felt safe, although I was still wary walking at night, as we all are everywhere honestly. We stayed at a 3 star hotel which I was skeptical about but it still turned out fine. My fave experience there is the Disneyland visit. At my big age it still felt quite magical (im also a sucker for attraction rides which is probably another reason).

Well, the 🗼 and Louvre are worth it. It was a little trip on the 14th of February. U should be ready for the greatness of the museum. If I knew I would dedicate 2 days to the museum because it's really big. My emotions are unexpressive, I was really tired in a good sense from the exhibitions morally and physically. We spent 1.2 k $ with a partner including a hostess to stay, tickets, main attractions & restaurant food for 3 days. I feel that it could be cheaper.

I have been to Paris before with my friend but last month I went alone but I felt really safe. I did not experience any danger, I love Paris very much, the art feeling and atmosphere are very fascinating! Although people usually write things like it is unsafe about Paris, I do not agree with that, I have not had any problems in the two times I have been there
Posted: April 10, 2025I went to Paris in the becinning of April and it was a really great City Trip. I can Highlights recommend for a solo Trip as there are so many people that you can meet and attractions to See. Also you can spent a week here as there is so much to see
Posted: April 8, 2025Experienced: March, 2025My and my mum visited Paris in 2023. One of the most beautiful thing i remember doing was listening to live music at night with the Eiffel tower as the view. Free and so so beautiful. We visited the “tourist” attraction and we were very happy. Also being under 25 a lot of things were free. Overall it was pretty good. I think it requires a lot of organisations but it’s definitely worth it.

I’ve lived on Paris for 3 years now and I feel safe as long as I don’t go near Chatelet or Gare du Nord and Montmartre surroundings. If you are a foodie I definitely recommend trying Cyril Lignac Brownie and hot chocolate ! I didn’t like Cedric Grolet. For delicious Boeuf Bourguignon, I ve tasted the one of Le Compas which was delicious for 23€ ! Although nothing compares to having apéro on the quais de seine between April and September ! That’s French experience, you favorite drink+ ham or saucisson + cheese from the market and you’r good to go for a delightful sunset. You might as well engage chat with happy French people maybe by asking them to open your beer hahah. Enjoy your trip !

I loved Paris a lot! You need one week at least for here. There are many places to visit. I liked Paris Brest. İt's so delicious! Everyone should try it! I couldn't stop to look at Eiffel tower 🙈 it was so lovely... I wish I will come there with my soulmate in the future... I can't say I felt I'm safe but it was okay. But metro was so dirty.. I did not like that. There was a big horrible traffic also ... If you want to visit everywhere by walk, you will lose too much weight 😂😂 I'm thinking I will visit there at least one more time in my life! Love you Paris! Missed you
Posted: March 19, 2025Experienced: December, 2024For the most part I felt safe. I stayed near gare du nord, which is a more restless part of the city, situated between two train stations. I don't recommend traveling late at night there especially at the train/ metro station. Paris had a lot of beautiful parks and a lot of free attractions and museums for under 26 year olds from the EU.
Posted: March 14, 2025Experienced: March, 2024Paris is mostly safe, but keep an eye out for pickpockets in crowded areas. Walking along the Seine, exploring Montmartre, and catching a jazz night were highlights, while overpriced tourist traps are worth it. The food scene is incredible—amazing bakeries everywhere, L’As du Fallafel for a quick bite, and classic French bistros for a long, indulgent dinner. Budget-wise, it’s not cheap, but avoiding touristy spots helps. Accommodation depends on the area—Le Marais is charming, but staying near the Eiffel Tower feels overrated. The metro is efficient but packed, while walking remains the best way to explore. As for the itinerary, Paris is best enjoyed without a rigid plan—just stroll, discover, and soak it all in. ❤️💄

I wouldn't say Paris is a safe city. You need to be aware of the risk of getting robbed in broad daylight by pickpockets, harassed/cat called, and I definitely wouldn't advise anyone to get home alone at night. Be sure to always be accompanied or get a cab!
Posted: April 22, 2025Paris is a mostly safe city for travelers. Tourist areas are well-patrolled, but be cautious of pickpockets in crowded spots like the metro. Avoid poorly lit or isolated areas late at night. People are crazy sometimes

Hiii I'm Jess, 26, based in Paris currently, but always dreaming of moving elsewhere. I had the chance of growing up in multiple countries and developed an appetite for art from a young age. I graduated three years ago and began my professional journey, working for major cultural institutions throughout the world before realising that I enjoyed my independence too much. As a mixed French girl, I still struggle with balancing my multiple identities, but I love my country and its gorgeous, temperamental people! Currently renovating my home, I hope to welcome some of you soon 🩷

Hi! I’m Léa, artist and designer based in Paris :) I’ve been living here for almost 10 years and know all the best spots to go there (it is completely biased haha but I truly know good places to recommend that are great to feel the local vibe). I grew up in the French Alps, I love to be in the mountains, in general. I love to sing, I’m learning how to play electric guitar now, I do a lot of screen printing on fabric and paper, I write and love to read. I’m travelling to Indonesia soon in Bali and then to Australia in Newcastle and Sydney, to visit one of my best friend there 💫

Hey there! I’m Dorra, a Tunisian living in Paris who’s always up for an adventure. I’ve done a bunch of trips, including solo ones where I got to meet awesome people and create fun memories. I even did an AIESEC exchange for 4 months, which was a cool way to dive into new cultures. I love meeting people, sharing laughs, and learning about different ways of life. If you’re into good vibes and exploring, let’s hang out!
