Full of people, there’s a half-hour line even to go to the bathroom. The churches are beautiful, especially the Saint Chapelle or San Denis. The metro is very easy to use. However, it’s extremely expensive— a bottle of water costs 6€.

I had a great time with my friends! Paris is a living cliché and I love romcoms so being there I felt like the maincharacter. Although for my next trip I would like to travel places where there is more of the real taste of the country. Because paris is very tourist friendly when it comes to culture.

I was there for an Erasmus. If you are under 26 please take advantage of their free museums, they have sooo many. Nothing occured to me, still due to how populated Paris is, I would recommend being cautious, still no exaggeration is needed.

I’ve been to Paris six times, and it has always felt like such a special city to me. It’s a place I truly connect with in a different way every time I visit. I’m going again this November and I’m really excited for it

If you’re smart you’ll be just fine. Just use your brain, common sense, and social cues. Keep your valuables hidden/securely on you, don’t interact with questionable people, be respectful of culture.
Posted: July 8, 2026I feel quite safe in Paris because you are always surrounded by people. Creepy men exist of course but it doesn’t occur that you are stuck alone with one somewhere. ALWAYS watch out for your phone and bag!!!!
Posted: July 8, 2026Paris is a generally safe major city. The most realistic risks are petty theft and opportunistic crime, not violent danger. Basic awareness (especially in crowded places) is usually enough to stay safe. Tourist zones (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Champs-Élysées): heavily policed but targeted by pickpockets. Central and western neighborhoods: generally calm and residential. North and northeast Paris (some parts of 18th, 19th, 20th): more mixed, with both quiet and more sensitive pockets.
Posted: July 3, 2026As a local, Paris seems to be safe to me, people do not really care about the way dress for instance. i haven t had any problem in 2 years, however pay attention to pickpockets in the métro (line 1 in particular) and in touristic places.

Hi ! I'm Juliette, I like to discover new things such as places, culture, activities and people. I think that locals can show their view of their place. I'm here to meet new friends that want to share their experience and happy moment with me ! I will be happy to welcome people at my place and help them to have a good time !

Hej This is my first time using travelladies. Me and my friend Emily would love to travel while getting to know locals and other female travelers. We always try to create a mix of culture, nature, partying and relaxation while traveling and appreciate noodles with pesto as well as fancy new dishes we never heard of. We plan to stay in Copenhagen from 13-16 August. Afterwards we will work at à berry farm for one week. We are very much looking forward to getting to know you:)
