I had such a great time in Paris. Honestly, I’d live there in a heartbeat! The city was so much fun and full of life, especially during Christmas. There’s always something to do, and the best part? So many things are free or discounted for students, which made exploring even better. I stayed at an Airbnb where the hosts were incredibly kind, they even invited us to dinner and introduced us to homemade French food for the first time! We didn’t eat out, but we made sure to try every dessert possible - from croissants to, well, everything sweet we could find. We also visited almost every museum we could squeeze into the week. It was a magical experience I’ll never forget.
Posted: May 20, 2025Experienced: May, 2025I love Paris, i’ve been there for a few times now and it’s always an amazing experience. of course it’s a big city and there are some homeless people and drunken ones but it’s not too bad, ive never experienced that someone has been harassed. (it’s a bonus if you can speak french, my mom is fluent and every morning we went to the same cafe to eat breakfast and since we could speak with them without problems we became very familiar with the staff and they were always happy seeing us)

I felt pretty safe during my visit in Paris wit my mom and my sister. We visited Disneyland Paris and it was a cool experience. We also visited the Eiffel tower which was a must during the trip! I strongly recommend visiting Disneyland and The Eiffel Tower for anyone visiting Paris.

I went there two days, one night. I havent been out so much, only in the metro which made me feel extremely unsafe. I made a bad encounter with a group of youngs men. If i had to give an advice. Dont show any jewellery and dont make eye contact.
Posted: April 27, 2025Experienced: February, 2022I went to Paris last year for a college summer elective course. It was a great trip and honestly overwhelming because there's simply so much to see and do. I did end up getting food poisoning on the first day and had to spend a few days lying in bed which wasnt fun. But despite that i managed to visit a lot of places, and some of the highlights were: 1)Going to the top of the eiffel tower at sunset. I honestly did not plan this because i thought it would be overrated but it became a core memory moment. I went just as they were closing, around 11 pm, so there was no line and i managed to get tickets for much cheaper than what i saw online, and the sunset view from the top was beautiful. Not to mention, the tower started sparkling right when i stepped out onto the second floor and it honestly felt magical. 2)Taking a river cruise along the seine. I took this cruise also around sunset so the whole golden hour made it that much more prettier 3)Sainte Chapelle. Having studied about this building in college, it was so cool to get to see it in person. The gothic architecture, stained glass windows...it is gorgeous. 4)Roaming around the streets of montmarte in the evening. Or just simply roaming around the streets of Paris in general. 5)Claude Monet's house and gardens in giverny. It's just a few hours away from Paris and really beautiful. Monet is someone i studied and researched about a lot as part of college assignments so again it was pretty cool to get to see his paintings and the infamous water lillies in person.

Paris is generally a safe city Just have to be aware of your belongings - phones, wallets jewelery Especially in crowded spaces Personally I'm not too worried about physical harm but rather being pickpocketed

Hello! My name is Manon, I'm French, and I'm currently studying in Paris. I'm naturally very curious, which explains my presence on this app. I love traveling, meeting new landscapes, and meeting new people, despite my introverted nature. I plan to travel around Europe in my twenties and being hosted would be cool, it is possible that in return I could also host because I have an annex but my hometown is in the suburbs of Paris not in Paris itself. Otherwise for anyone arriving in Paris and who does not have any acquaintances there, I would also be happy to make new friends in the capital :) I also visit many Parisian monuments and museums, which means I can recommend and help people visit Paris.
