Quiet suburbs city, with very sure center. All road are lit by night. Be careful in the RER train, keep your bags with you Never leave your bike without a locker. Avoid to leave it near the RER station

I think it’s pretty safe as it’s mostly a rich city with old people. It depends on the area tho, but the worst I experienced was being cat called one time, or spoken agressively by some police men. I lived there for my whole life. I one let my keys on my door when i went away for 2 weeks and found them at the same place when i came back. I think the most dangerous thing is the train leading you to Paris, the rer B, as it is the most frequented.
