Popular area not very sexy in generally- you have to be careful after dark but it’s all fine if you are a minimum aware of the surroundings and alert (avoid dark and empty areas at night). Transportations are safe in general

Annemasse is fairly safe but there are certain areas I'd be worried to walk at night. And there are occasional break-in attempts here and there. But nothing too bad. I cycle at night sometimes, the town is pretty quiet, empty streets. Which makes it both calming at unsettling at the same time, but I never had any weird situation on the street.
Posted: January 21, 2025Not safe at all, can be okay at daylight, won't recommend at night. It's better to know the streets very well to avoid the strange people. A lot of drugs are around and we always see that something happened in the newspaper.
Posted: January 17, 2025It is quite safe during the day but at night there are some weird people in the street. There is a huge gap between rich and poor people so it creates embarrassing situation. I was born in this city and I have been harrassed some times, now I avoid going out at night.

Hello I'm Kelsee, or Cici, and I'm 25 years old! I'm from the United States and English is my native language, but I speak fluent Spanish, and level A2 (intermediate) French. I love to travel, read, learn new things, be creative, and work with kids. I have been an Au Pair in a small village near the Swiss border for 3 months, and have had a truly incredible experience. I'll hopefully be starting with a new family on Wednesday but I need a place to stay until then. I'm not a difficult guest. I wash my own dishes, put everything back where I found it, and I try not to cause any problems. I'm an introvert who loves to meet new people!

Hey! I’m Mylène, 45 yo - a traveler addict but more than that a culture discoverer! My preferred way to travel is really to settle down and be immersed in a city, country etc. I love animals, nature, cinema, books, going out for a drink (or two 🤪) and talk! I am looking forward to meeting other ladies with the same mindset. I am happy to also guide you in the region etc.
