It is a safe city in Turkey. People in Trabzon are very hospitable. I don't feel unsafe in this city. The only bad thing for me is the dogs on the streets. I'm really scared of them, but that doesn't mean they will attack you, it's just my personal fear.

The people of this city are quite reliable and very hospitating. The streets are safe. I've never been stolen. When it gets dark, people don't go out much except for students and young people. Since it is a tourist area, people welcome foreigners well.
