The trip was really enjoyable. I met a lot of friends there, and I’m also thinking of going again. The people are kind and helpful if you need anything. Since I’m a student, it wasn’t expensive for me. The food was amazing, with a lot of variety. The places were really, really beautiful, and there are plenty of things to do It’s also a safe place, but at night it’s better to go to well-known areas. Still, it was a great trip, and I will never forget it

It was a nice trip , i really loved this country, their culture ,their food . I visited Istanbul and cappadocia , unfortunately I didn’t see the air balloons because of the weather but it was also a nice experience there .
Posted: March 17, 2026Istanbul is a city with very friendly people, and public transport makes getting around easy. Be ready for plenty of walking, stairs, and hills—it’s a real workout for your legs and lungs! I would recommend avoiding areas with Palestinian flags, as I didn’t feel safe there.
Posted: March 13, 2026Experienced: February, 2026Turkiye hold a special place in my heart. The people are so warm and the food is amazing I would love to move here one day. Antalya is great for a relaxing holiday by the sea and Istanbul feels like the centre of the world! Everyone must try here at least once

just don't go to the outskirts of the city late at night, at least bring a friend if you have to for some reason. I'd say watch for Muratpaşa + touristic parts. Bring a friend at LEAST. That's it. Love

It’s pretty safe, just make sure not going into dark alleys, backstreets very late at night etc but other than that i don’t think anyone get any trouble Especially if you close to seaside neighbourhoods it’s safer
Posted: April 11, 2026Really depends on the area. Some areas are super cool and safe, however stay away from some areas espacially Tarlabaşı area. If you want to find a place to stay in beyoğlu area, check out Cihangir, as many tourists choose to be around Beyoğlu. I would recommend Kadıköy as well, esp. Moda or bahariye area. Beşiktaş is moderately safe as well. I live in that neighborhood and have never faced a problem.
Posted: April 8, 2026Ankara is moderately safe in my opinion. However, you need to be as far as possible from the Ulus district at night. In the daytime, it is safe to travel around and is also nice to visit with the presence of the museums and such, but i would not recommend choosing a hotel or a hostel around that area. Ankara is also not known for its youth night times in the city. By that i mean you wont see many people walking in the streets, and even as a local, i would not recommend travelling by yourselves...

Hey, I’m Beyza. I’m 19, obsessed with traveling, and currently on a mission: 19 countries before I turn 20. I’m spending my gap year exploring the world while collecting ideas for my future social enterprise. Yes, I travel like I’m running a field research project. In September 2026, I’m planning to start university in either Italy or the US. I love meeting new people, spontaneous plans, getting lost (and then pretending it was part of the plan), and analyzing every city like a case study. Ig: Wispybeyza
