Bebek, Etiler and Sarıyer. These places are rich luxurious places of Istanbul and safe to roam around freely even after dark. But always be careful to bystreets, as you can never really know who's there. Make sure you follow at least a stream of people going to some place, you don't want to go somewhere that nobody goes at night. I dont recommend staying at the hotels or somewhere at the Asian part of the Istanbul as people there tend to be more religious/conservative and can give you side eyes if you wear something revealing. Also you wouldn’t feel as safe too. In the European side of Istanbul, the places closer to the Bosphorus are better.

I have lived in this country for 18 years and there are many problems, especially regarding the safety of women. We will not welcome countries where women's safety is not a priority. Even though Türkiye is a paradise, key problems cannot be ignored.

Şanlıurfa is a city where local people are low-educated. However, there is a high population of well-educated but these people are live in a different area from locals and they mostly come Şanlıurfa to work for government such as teachers etc. the places that should be visited are located in the city center and some of the small districts.

Fethiye is a small modern town on the Turquoise coast with a mix of tourists and local people. All the locals know ow each other and look out for each other, hence why crime is low. I have lived here as a single woman for years and feel totally safe at any time of day or night.

İstanbul is a warm and welcoming city but you need to be careful nonetheless. There are a lot of people trying to scam tourists and take advantage of trusting women. My advice is try to stay in known and populated areas and don't believe the first person who offers/says/invites you, be cautious.

Among my favorite cities in Turkey, I had a wonderful and enjoyable time at the paradisiacal coves and the magnificent beaches of Ölüdeniz with its clear, deep blue waters. 🌊☀️ * Cable car at Babadağ * Kabak Cove * Butterfly Valley * Ölüdeniz Beach - Sea Me, Kumburnu * Faralya * Paspatur Bazaar (Old town) * 12 Islands tour
