Overall safe because Fethiye hosts many tourists during summer season. General precautions should be taken against stealing. Locals are generally friendly but there might be catcalling. You should try to avoid secluded areas, especially late at night.

Turkey
I stayed in Kabak Bay for two weeks. Since it was winter, it was very quiet. Nature interwined. There are minibuses available at regular intervals, or you can reach there by taxi or car. I heard it's very busy and fun during the summer months. You can find an atmosphere like the hipsters of the 60s here in the summer.

I am Aslı, a university student from Turkey. While travelling, I love to get a good grasp of the culture and history behind the places I visit. I really enjoy listening to local music or trying local food. I also love being outdoors. My favorite hikes are the kind that you end up swimming afterwards.
