Overall it's a safe city but just like all cities there are some areas to stay away from that I wouldn't recommend to go. Transportation is easy and safe in the I've never been harassed by any men in Edirne before.
Posted: February 3, 2025Edirne is a beautiful and historical city. I lived there about 5 years. It’s quiet but at the same time energetic. People are kind and very welcoming. There are lots of historical structures in there because once upon a time Edirne was Ottoman Empire’s capital city. So you will learn lots of things. Also when I lived there, I felt so safe. People are very modern. They don’t look what you wear or who you talk. So, nobody sexually abused me or something like that. Also, Edirne is an expensive city. As a Turkish, I had a hard time because of Turkish economy. Especially tourists have to be careful because some shopkeepers will understand that you’re a tourist and they will sell you something very expensive. So be careful girls not to be scam. I hope everyone who goes Edirne will have lots of fun and enjoy their trip!

Edirne is a city of history. Everywhere I went there were artifacts and mosques from the Ottoman period. The majority of them were the Grand Mosques. There was the Beyazıt Social Complex. It was probably the place that made me happiest and most peaceful. They built a place where you can study science, from a mental hospital, and it was very big. In the place where there was a mental hospital, there were water fountains. He didn't let her think. As for the prices, the shopping malls were very cheap, there were small minibuses and public buses, we used the minibuses.
