Alanya is a small city, it’s pretty safe to travel alone. People here protect and look after each other. You can always ask for help to anyone and they will help you with anything. Beware of scammers, they may charge slightly higher prices than normal.
Posted: January 30, 2025Alanya is one of the most important tourism destinations in Turkiye and the government cares about it too much. People from different countries live here in peace . There is always crime in the street but i would say people here are kore respect compared to people in other cities.

Hello, I have been in Turkey many times and first I fell for Side. It's a wonderful place! But then in Alanya I found friends (Turkish) of course) the thing is that if you get one real friend there Ups! you have a lot of them. Genuin Turkish people are really hospitable and caring.I feel really safe there.
Posted: September 21, 2024Experienced: August, 2024In general we felt safe, but we stayed mostly in our hotel & the area around. The place was really touristic & nearby were a lot of opportunities to go shopping. The water sport and other activities were pretty expensive. But the people were very nice and welcoming.
