I live in Sanliurfa since i was born. I lived in other cities for university but still came back to here cause especially the location i live in is so safe. Every city can be dangerous for us women, but I'm feeling safe enough to live here

It is very safe. I have never had any problems. In addition, you can travel everywhere at a very reasonable price by public transport. Şanlıurfa is a city with historical values, and its religious and historical spirituality is very high.
Posted: February 2, 2025I live in Şanlıurfa over 24 years and I never witnessed a crime. Most people are helpful. There is some foreing friends of me and I never heard a negative comment about this topic from them. Mostly they like urfa and meals.

Şanlıurfa is pretty safe city i love it... food are not expensive i love its food especially "ciğer". you can find ciğer everywhere in Şanlıurfa some history place like 'Gobeklitepe' might be expensive for foreigners but you all must see there. its also called 'zero of history' there is also a which is called 'Balikligol' there are a lot fish but it has a islamic story you should read it. there is an old castle but we can't enter it we only able to see from outside.
