Rize is a small and quiet city. I think it is safer compared to big cities. The rarity of incidents like theft and robbery makes it feel safer to explore. However, it is still important to be cautious when it gets dark.

It’s a small city on the east side of Türkiye, in the black sea region. Approximately one hour to Georgia. It is really safe for women. If you need any help you can go to a nearby cafe, shop, markets. Even though they don’t know English they will try to help you with anything. Of course there are bad people everywhere but it’s unlikely to get kidnapped or harassed here in Rize. We have a lot of mountains waterfalls ect. We have all green things and the sea. You can swim in the summer season.

Rize is a small city, built on a coastline and surrounded by mountains on the other side. Even though it is rainy, the sea and the beach are small, it is still beautiful, I think the people are mostly elderly, they are sometimes angry but generally good. There are dogs, you may encounter aggressive ones in secluded places, but they are generally harmless. It's a place where harassment doesn't happen very often, people watch too much sometimes, but the public would never allow rape. It's not a place to be afraid of in that regard. Generally a safe and sweet place.
