Incredibly safe, it's a small student city in Bavaria, nothing to worry about! Nothing has ever happened to me in 3 years living there. There is even a school where they make new cops. So stoners, beware!! It's so safe that there are a lot of cops anywhere so be a bit careful where u smoke lol
Posted: February 24, 2025It is super safe walking around, even at night, just stay away from Zellerau at night. Generally it is super safe, because it's a student city and definitely one of the safest places I've been in Germany. I have lived here for several years and never heard from friends of an incident.

I'd say residential neighborhoods and downtown are pretty safe. Strange of course on Friday and Saturday nights when a lot of people hang out. In any case, in my experience and in the experience of my acquaintances, there have been no assaults, harassment, or stalking.
Posted: February 10, 2025It’s a safe city, not too big and very beautiful, but sometimes very touristic so then there could be pocket thieves. Also, there are some areas where burglaries take place, but I’ve never really personally had any bad experiences other than occasional cat calling in summer :)

It’s “completely” safe, I walk around at night all the time, even drunk and alone. Würzburg is just a lovely city! You don’t really have to worry about anything. Except maybe when going to the club about men approaching you inappropriately but I think you can’t be safe from that anywhere.

It‘s absolutely safe. Worst case is someone is stealing from you in public! Everybody is nice and wants to help. Don‘t know what to say any more. Würzburg is a lovely city. Has a nice river, clubs and bars.
Posted: December 24, 2024Würzburg is very safe; many students live there, the police are in the city center, and in general, I am hardly aware of any crimes. I also don't feel uncomfortable in the city at night, and in general, Würzburg is very well-lit at night.

In general, it is a small and quiet city. There are so many universities in the city and it is called the university city and more than half of the population consists of students. There are not many foreign people in the city except students, the population of Germans is higher. Overall a city where I am not afraid when walking alone at night
Posted: July 7, 2024Würzburg is quite safe. I have been out in midnight too. It is calm, small nice city. One doesn't need to be that much concern. Also, public transport is safe too. I am living here and never faced anything being worried.

Heyooo I'm ems and I'm looking for places to stay during my trip to spain:)) I don't have a fixed plan for my trip, I just want to go wherever the journey leads me... right now I'm most interested in getting to know different art forms and to find out how I want to express myself, so if your also into art I'd love to let myself be inspired by you! But my biggest interest lies in the people I meet along the way. I love to get to know new people and learn about what makes you you, in which moments you feel like your truest self and maybe even share some of these moments:) I would describe myself as easy going, being an open book and curious about all kinds of things... I like to find joy in the very smallest things in life!
