Nancy can be a cute city, BUT if you don't get lucky you could meet a very bad man with bad intentions, I have my own experience with that. I would say don't be paranoid but stay careful, share your location, call a friend on the way back home. Just safety first. But you can't anticipate when a problem is gonna come so just be careful and enjoy the city.

I think Nancy is a safe place, but as a woman, I never really feel completely safe when walking alone… It’s the same everywhere I’ve been, so I guess it’s mostly anxiety, since I’ve never actually had any problems (apart from some annoying men in the street, but nothing serious lol 🙄.)

There is a bunch of freaks but like two man especially, however most of the time it is pretty safe and I’m not verbally assaulted that often maybe like once a week. If you get on the bus you will be safer in the front rather than in the back. And you can always go to people if you are being followed or something, they will help.

I spent a few days in Nancy, but unfortunately, my experience was not the best. The city does have some architectural charm and a few picturesque squares, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a woman traveling alone.

I think Nancy is quite a save city but as always you should be careful because something can always happen. I walked often home alone in the dark and I never felt unsafe but i'm always taking the route next to the big street. I never experienced any problematic things but I know that some districts are less safe and quite unsafe. Otherwise be careful that nobody steals something from you in the bus. But in general it's really safe and I never worry on a night out
