I honestly have come home many times in the middle of the night, used public transportation or anything, and I have never felt in danger. I don't know if it's me that gives off a vibe of "don't talk to me" on the bus or what, but I just feel like my city is calm and pretty problem-free. No noise, no crowds, nothing. Its population is rather on the "grandparents" age range. I know of 1 buildings' zone nearby that I've been told I'm "supposed" to avoid, but I live 2 minutes away by foot as it's where I take the bus, and have never had any kind of problem in the 5 years I've lived here (and I mean any). I still clutch my keys between my fingers when I come home at night "just in case", but really, what girl doesn't đź«
