Münster is really safe. A nice little student town. I have been living in Münster for ten years now. Sometime while partying there are some people not knowing their limits but still most of the time I don’t worry going out even going out alone.

Münster is a city where people are always eager to help you in different situations. It’s also a very clean and illuminated city, with police presence everywhere. Besides the train station, you don’t have to worry at all.

Münster is pretty safe as city. I would not recommend the train station area at night as there are junkies at the back side, but normally they are not harassing people. The transportation is pretty fine by bus. I would recommend to use the DB app to look at the best bus and trains connections. The city offers a huge variety of international cuisines and it is famous due to the high amount of bikes. Basically there are bike lanes everywhere :)
