I visited Nuremberg just for a day since I live nearby, and it was a great experience. I felt completely safe the whole time. I recommend checking out Kaiserburg Castle and strolling through the old town — it’s really charming. I had lunch at “Bratwurst Röslein” — tasty and not expensive. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t say anything about accommodation. I spent around 20 euros for the day. Getting around was super easy on foot and by tram

Nuremberg is a place when I felt safe and it has become totally iconic for me! I’ve been there for a few days (cheap flights) and it’s really worth it. First of all, I can highly reccomend long walks through the town; it’s really cute and I’m sure you’re gonna like it. German which I met were very helpful, but still all you need is map. Museum DB (of communication) and museum of Albrecht Durer (who was born here) were really cool to see too.

It's like any other city in Germany I think. You have to be careful, idiots (men) are everywhere but most of the time you are safe. There are a few places that are a little bit sketchy especially at night; the train station, "Aufseßplatz" or "Maffaiplatz" for example. But besides that it's okay.

It mostly feels safe other than too late in the night. But other than that, all the public places and public transport are generally very safe. I would however suggest that women shouldn’t walk alone later in the night in areas that are usually quiet like residential streets etc..
