I visited Nuremberg just for a day since I live nearby, and it was a great experience. I felt completely safe the whole time. I recommend checking out Kaiserburg Castle and strolling through the old town — it’s really charming. I had lunch at “Bratwurst Röslein” — tasty and not expensive. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t say anything about accommodation. I spent around 20 euros for the day. Getting around was super easy on foot and by tram

Nuremberg is a place when I felt safe and it has become totally iconic for me! I’ve been there for a few days (cheap flights) and it’s really worth it. First of all, I can highly reccomend long walks through the town; it’s really cute and I’m sure you’re gonna like it. German which I met were very helpful, but still all you need is map. Museum DB (of communication) and museum of Albrecht Durer (who was born here) were really cool to see too.

Overall very safe, near the train station and Plärrer you will find some weird people but they are usually not really dangerous just annoying. In and around the train station there is a pretty high police presence so you'll be safe. The city centre is busy day and evening especially on weekends and events, but i havent had any bad experience in the crowds, so only the "usual" stuff avoid tiny dark roads at night/alone and that😂

I love the city, but please be careful at night. The train station is one of the most unsafe places in Germany. So Just be careful. In general the city is safe, especially in the center. Also be careful in the South of the City. Its not really a nice place, especially at night!

You should always watch your pockets at Plärrer and Hauptbahnhof. I always walk around Nürnberg by night and I never have any problems, but never say never. I think Fürth (or Erlangen) is a little bit safer for walking around at night being a woman alone.

Hi! I'm Johanna! I study social work, and live in Nürnberg. I love many kinds of crafting, like sewing or working with wood, I visit the gym sometimes and basically just try out every hobby that comes to my mind! I usually prefer reading a book or going into nature over big crowds, but from time to time I like to go out and have some fun. I always try to be my happiest self, to bring some sunshine and warmth to the people :). I want to create a safe space for the people I meet, so they can be whoever they are without having to pretend to be someone else. I absolutely enjoy the coast, just sitting somewhere looking at the waves with wind going through my hair is my happy place and just really calms me down. I'm travelling alone quite often, and it's always nice to meet new people and spontaneously do something, so I'm happy to meet you if we're in the same town! :)
