Hamburg is a beatiful City I can always eecommend going there. But I would recommend not going outside by yourself at night especially in the areas around the Hbf. The most fun thing we did was going into a local jazz club it was amazing. Hamburg can be a bit more expensive especially if you want to try some of the restaurants there with really great cusuines or when you go second hand shopping which Hamburg has alot of. Traveling around the city is really easy with the Germany Ticket.
Posted: May 12, 2025Experienced: March, 2025I felt safe, i just had to watch out on the streets with clubs. I would recommend going to Kunsthalle museum and if you like going out then Reeperbahn. My restaurant recommendation is block house. I stayed at my sister’s so she drove me around but there is local bus and a train.
Posted: January 1, 2025We were in Hamburg. The city has many activities. Like take a boat trip. I was at the musical "Harry Potter and the cursed chıld". The city library is huge. In the basement, used/old books, audio books, films and games are sold at a reasonable price.

I felt most of the time safe. Around the trainstations in Hamburg it is not that safe. Especially at Hauptbahnhof. I liked the Bunker. There you can go up for free and have a beautiful view over the city. Additionally I was in "Naschcafé" which i can recommend. The food there is really good. Also "Falafelprinz" at Schanze. You can get there cheap Falafelwraps. If you like to go into a museum, you should try "Deichtorhallen" or "Kunst und Gewerbe". All in all, it was a really nice trip.
Posted: August 6, 2024Discovering Hamburg for the first time. It is an atypical city, very interesting with several aspects. I really enjoyed walking along the river and taking the public boat that allows you to discover the city. The architecture of the city as well as its monuments and churches are magnificent. I recommend spending at least 2 days there and if you are lucky with beautiful sunshine. Concerning the food, you absolutely have to try a fish sandwich on the port. On the other hand, it is a city that can be dangerous for a girl alone. Especially the area next to the station.

Hi, I‘m Emily! I’ve been on holidays with my parents since I was a little girl. When I got older I started traveling with friends. The first time I traveled further away without my parents was truly eye opening for me. I finally felt free and self-determined. I enjoyed planning my trips, organizing what was needed and being in charge of myself, finally listening to what my soul was telling me and putting it into action. That’s when I decided to try solo-traveling. I‘ll begin my very first solo trip in February and will travel through Southeast Asia for approximately 4 months. If anybody would like to meet up or travel together for a bit, feel free to message me! 💕 Meeting new people along the way is actually one of the things I’m most excited about during this upcoming trip (coming from a fellow introvert, haha)!

Hi! I’m Vanessa, 25, born and raised in Hamburg. I’m new to the app and excited to meet inspiring women — whether you’re nearby or just passing through. I’m always open to making new connections, sharing stories, and maybe even finding travel buddies along the way. I’m pretty outgoing and love meaningful conversations, but I also value my quiet moments and the joy of recharging on my own. I like to think that my mix of curiosity, honesty, and a good sense of humor makes me someone people feel comfortable around. If you’re up for coffee chats, cultural exchange, or simply expanding your circle — I’d love to connect!

Hi I'm Jana. I'm a 28 yo ER nurse and medschool student. I like reading, playing football (or soccer for the Americans), SUPing on the Alster and trying new vegan spots. I spent some time working in different countries or just exploring new places and cultures. And got addicted to travelling pretty quickly :-)

Hi Girls❣️ I am an Italian girl, I have been living in Hamburg for almost two years, I am here to do a PhD in Nanotechnology. I like to travel, talk, create moments and stories to tell. I like to travel both alone and in company. I am very open-minded, and for me the important thing is that people are happy and in harmony. I like nature and long walks, trying local food and knowing the history of places. I support the LGBTQ+ community and all rights for women. It is very important to me that women feel safe, anywhere, anytime.
