Solo travel

My first time in Heidelberg! I had the time of my life! Such a beautiful place. It started cloudy but then it was so sunny! I didn't try the food or buy anything, I was so enhanced by the city, that I just walked through it! There is a lot of nature and it felt super peaceful. I recommend paying a visit, it's so worth it.

Solo travel

I would define recommend Heidelberg, it has good authentic food and historical old buildings. There is a castle with a wonderful view. It is one of the places you should not miss when visiting Germany.

Heidelberg is a peaceful student town. It's very beautiful and also is a big attraction for tourists and international students. Therefore it is very safe. Sometimes of course things can happen but it is very rare to hear or experience. Not to be worried at all.

Heidelberg feels very safe if you go to the right places, and even at the bad ones, u feel fine. The safest places are the old town but at night there might be a lot of drunk people because of the untere Street. The only place where I don't feel safe safe is at the Stadtwerke, and that's because of the drug users there, but otherwise, I can't think of a "dangerous" place in Heidelberg. I lived there all my life, and I had like a few incidents that were not that great but nothing major.
