I felt safe, but most of the food was greek or Schnitzel there was almost no other kind of meat, it was really cold even if it was august and there was not much to do, just going to the mall and stuff like that, I did like an asian place that had "red curry rice" in the hannover train station mall, it was the best food I tried there, and after 2 years, I still miss it
Posted: December 30, 2024Experienced: July, 2022I think Hannover is a great city to travel. It’s big and modern, which attracts me a lot. I’ve definitely had a great time there. And also I love the buildings there. It’s not single but different kinds of. I love this Variety. It’s like the people there, from different countries and have different views.

I've been living in Hanover for 5 years and had very few unpleasant interactions. Of course, a certain level of caution is advised for women who travel alone, but that goes for any bigger city. Overall I feel save here and enjoy living here.
Posted: April 28, 2025Hanover is somewhere in the middle when it comes to safety for women. As everywhere there are safer and not so safe areas. I would recommend using my guest bike over walking, especially if you're planning to be out at night.

Hello there! 🤗 I'm Sina, 26yo and currently finishing my Master's degree. I'm an easygoing, thoughtful and curious person. Although I would consider myself introverted, I still take every chance I get to explore new places and enjoy meeting new people.

hey! I‘m Jana, 18 years old and from Hanover in Germany. Soon I will be graduating from school and after that I am planning to do interrail with a good friend of mine. I looooove seeing new places, meeting new people and eating new dishes/food! I am so excited and happy for everything that is there to be explored!

I came here from couchsurfing, which I used for 12 years. So I'm an experienced host as well as a guest who follows your house rules. By now, I mainly travel to Italy, because I am in love with the people, the culture, the food and the landscape. As a host I offer a key, so you can come and go as you please. You can get a guest bike if needed. Also, you'll be invited to my table when I cook, if you want to. Just know that I smoke, and I do so inside my apartment. If you can't stand that, please don't ask me to host you, because I am not going outside of my own home. I do so when I'm a guest in your house though.
