Regensburg is a very safe city. You can walk around both during the day and at night without feeling worried. People are friendly and helpful, and the city has a calm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s also well-organized, clean, and the public transport is reliable. Overall, it’s a great place to live or study because you always feel comfortable and secure.
Posted: November 8, 2025Overall safe but we have one dangerous park next to the trainstation where you should not go and also some cases of sexual assault and rape but also not that often and mostly at night that park or certain parts bit more outside the city
Posted: April 17, 2025Overall it is pretty safe, robberies are very uncommon. I would not recommend walking alone after dark though, but I never would no matter where. It hast gotten worse the past few years but it is still pretty safe.

Hey:) My name is Suyeija and I live in a rather small town in Germany (Bavaria). I study primary education here - nearly finished. I love the sun and being outside, seeing new things and meeting people. I tend to be a few minutes late because I’m pretty easily distracted and there’s always things catching my attention. I could stay days in places like museums or book shops. I would love to learn other languages but I’m rather shy when it comes to speaking - not so with German and English (I talk a lot). I’ve never done a solo trip for longer than 2 nights but I want to get to that:)
