In Greifswald living a lot students, families and older people. There are not many people out at night because it is a small town. The streetlights are good and the people are pretty friendly around here.
Posted: December 25, 2024Greifswald is a small town in the northern east of Germany with 60.000 inhabitants. There are a lot of students in Greifswald which makes it young and comfortable for travelers. Still there are also other people with other points of view so it is not always nice to life there.
Posted: August 12, 2024It is a small City and overall really Safe. Of course there can be people that can be Pushy but those people exist all around the world and you only meet those people in a club. At Night you only see few people walking the streets

Hi, my Name is Marie and I am originally from Berlin but moved for my Studies to the Baltic Sea, to Greifswald. I am always interested in getting to know new people and would love to show you around or just offer you a place to sleep. I am an active girly that is into nature (what I also study), biology, volleyball and cooking. What I also like is tabletennis on Wednesdays in a student club nearby and dancing to techno either in Greifswald or Berlin. If you don't find me at home you'll probably see me playing Beachvolleyball at the small beach we have in Greidswald, studying at the Library or just sipping a coffee in the city center. Also I work at the local ice cream shop- Kontor Eismanufakktur :)

Hey I‘m Lara and I’m just about to start my gap year after finishing school. Afterwards I will probably start to study medicine which I‘m really looking forward too. I already had the opportunity to do an exchange year in Canada and an exchange in France so I love to travel, experience new cultures and learn new languages! During my Gap year I hope to visit Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia and Japan. I would love to get in touch with other travelers during that time and it would be amazing to find hosts and stay with local woman to really experience the local culture and hopefully find new friends :)
