I visited for an exhibition and to see the cathedral which is very ancient. Aachen is a beautiful town and very safe. I stayed centrally and it was an easy walk frim the station, and very easy to get everywhere on foot.

Overall Aachen is a pretty safe and friendly city. With majority of a student population, I usually feel pretty safe and walk around after dark quiet confidently. Of course there are a couple of areas where they have some amount of crimes but they are not that frequent and usually they're not the touristy places.

Aachen is very Safe i guess. Although the rate of men is very high compared to women but I still don’t experience so much harassment in clubs or anywhere. I enjoy pretty much living here. The people walking around in aachen are very nice and you can always go for an adventure on your own. You will find people to join you or to have fun together
