I visited for an exhibition and to see the cathedral which is very ancient. Aachen is a beautiful town and very safe. I stayed centrally and it was an easy walk frim the station, and very easy to get everywhere on foot.
Posted: March 27, 2024It’s a little town with many students from all over the world. Since our universities offer fields of study in aerospace engineering and mechanical engineering, there are many men here. These fields tend to be predominantly male. This is especially noticeable at parties, where the gender ratio is skewed. However, Aachen is safe and rather peaceful. There is the eastern quarter, which should be avoided at night. Otherwise, I go everywhere alone at night and in the dark. Of course, you occasionally encounter strange men, but that's probably the case everywhere. Otherwise, I feel very safe. I've never had the thought of being robbed here.

You can go anywhere around the city of Aachen! The streets are safe and even the parks are great to stay in during summer or winter🌞 It’s very inviting to everyone who wants to explore this city, and get to know the German culture

Greetings, My name Is Touyen, but you can call me Nova/Noah/Nora as well. I was born and raised in the Czech republic, but have moved to Germany for my studies in computer science, specializing in Natural Language Processing - Languages have always been a passion of mine and so innately learning about different cultures as well, making traveling and getting to know new people around the world mean much to me :)
