I had the best time ever in Australia. I went to Australia by myself and had a small group for my first week in Sydney. After that I traveled up the east coast with another German girl I met in Sydney. I went skydiving and slept on a boat at the Whitsundays and up in Cairns I did my open water scuba certification. Absolut loved it. After that I went over to Perth stayed there for around a month until my family came to visit me. With them I went to Rottnest Island to see Quakkas (they’re adorable). After that I went back to the east coast with them before they went back home. I then went...

I’ve been living in Australia for 2 years, sone of the best besches ever ive seen there. distances are too long so, its a good plan to take the hop-on-hop-of buses that enables yoy yo use it for a month gor example from north to south east coast so yoy can know all the coiast cheaply. I have been most of the tome in Gold Coast, my favourite place to stat due to the great weather also in winter.

Such a cool city!! Australia is actually the safest country i have ever felt in. I can walk alone, daylight or night time and feel safe. The CBD is very pretty and has a lot to offer to student life.

It was a great family adventure between girls. We can practically only move on foot. We even got lost outside the city center but it was incredible. Australians don't even pay attention to tourists in make your life
Posted: September 20, 2025I spent 6 months in Australia as a solo female backpacker. It was an amazing experience, I met so many people & made new friends:) I can highly recommend it! It’s a great place for solo travellers, you’ll never feel alone, there’s always someone who can help you:)

The inner city is easy to navigate and public transportation is phenomenal. Bus stops, train stops- they all feel generally safe and it doesn’t bother me to walk around alone at night. Absolutely take caution wherever you travel, but Brisbane is in no way a high risk or crime ridden city.
Posted: January 20, 2026Gateshead is generally pretty safe if you keep your head down and not interact with the local addicts. These people are easily recognisable and you just must keep your head down and not interact in a manner that is not considered calm because the banter would fuel them. It is better to remain silent when possible and respectful if you need to interact.
Posted: January 19, 2026I live in the inner south eastern suburbs of Melbourne and generally feel very safe there. There are some creepy guys at some clubs like Billboards but I feel safe so long as I’m now alone. Queer clubs are really safe
Posted: January 12, 2026It’s quite safe, you have a lot of police officers in the street so you feel in security. But there are a lot of junkies in the street even more during the night after club. So stay safe and don’t stay alone in the street during the night. However I think it’s the same everywhere

Geelong is a fairly safe city. It has alot of fun and interesting activities to enjoy. It is safe during the day as well as during the night. There are one or two spots around the city that you should be vigilent in, but more times than not it is safe to visit anytime of day.

I am a mature solo female traveller. I look forward to meeting other female travellers from all over the world. I am tidy and respectful but love to go out exploring and seeing live music and art galleries.
