Very nice but small Great views, great tours. But needs to be planed with a good budget as the tours are a bit pricey Lots of mosquitos, sting season and wet season can change the plans a bit. Bus is 50 cents but if you don’t have a car 3 days is more than enough
Posted: January 16, 2025Loved Sydney. Although it was very busy!! Felt safe the city was just a bit congested. They had lots to do there and they had many food cuisine’s from around the world to eat !! I felt pretty safe and their was many chill activities to do. The beaches and weather were great 🤍

If you are in Sydney in October you need to go see the whales, it is such an amazing experience! You can go to the Harbour and buy a ticket and go alone without any problem. Also don’t miss out on all the beaches Sydney has to offer (Bondi, Bronte, Coogee, Tamarama, Manly, etc). The beaches are also very safe but swim between the flags!!

the cities are the safest place in the world except for the outback, Darwin and Alice Springs. things to do is explore the nature that this amazing country has to offer. Melbourne: I can recommend Fleet Rooftop Bar in, I was working there. Storyville, a club that is free if you work in hospitality, just show them your payslip at the entrance. Turbo 322, it’s a night club in a kitchen LMAO. Mixue has the cheapest ice cream. Brisbane: every wednesday in the southbank area there is a free market where you can get free food. a good night club is Ric’s. Sydney: take a ferry and go wherever you want, at night it’s amazing to see the opera theatre from the sea. Here are very famous hidden pubs. Darwin: I wouldn’t recommend to take the bus at night and walk alone. Darwin you can visit it in an hour, is very small but if you go there in the dry season, is full of backpackers and I had so much fun. I met the best people of my life here. Good to renew the working holiday visa. Everywhere: For groceries go to Aldi to save money. For cheap clothes go to Vinnies, second hand clothes but very good, you can also donate. K-Mart, has clothes and everything cheap. And DAISO Japan is the best.
Posted: January 4, 2025definitely felt safe but it’s also a huge country so you will probably find unsafe places (I heard bad things about alice springs but also never went there so I can’t say how unsafe you would feel there). Other then that I felt really safe and met loads of people who will try to help you if you need there help. Definitely recommend it to travel solo. Just be aware that it’s pretty expensive. But if you work there you will be fine

I mostly felt safe. Once in the evening I got out at a wrong busstop and had to walk really far in the dark. I saw a group of men walking on the sidewalk and I took a different turn and checked if they were just walking on and then did. Many people drink a lot there which is not my favourite company.

I feel safe! I rent a car and drove about 1250km, the east coast line is very blue, makes me feel like in Nice, France. I recommend lobster in Stanley, the most popular restaurant there. And I live in my car in camping place, there are so many free camp areas, with toilets or other facilities. It’s great to travel there alone, female friendly, I’d love go Australia every year!

it’s a very safe town, i am just generally a bit paranoid. everyone knows everyone, so when your there, so many people are willing to give rides or organise a way home so you won’t have to walk alone by yourself
Posted: January 22, 2025Sydney is a big city which can get quite quiet at night, meaning there are less people around which can be scary. You may experience some minor harassment, but I am rarely worried about anything more serious than that. There are always guards you can be near on public transport and most people are quite receptive if you need to ask for help or assistance.
