Hi butterflies, I myself like to fly away to other places to meet other butterflies and beautiful people and their colors of traditions and cultures. But I also can really enjoy to stay in my cocoon and would love to welcome other butterflies and people, having a great time with them in my wonderful, social and green hometown. Even though I am born with a muscular disease and I am using a power wheelchair to move around, it absolutely doesnโt make me to stay in my cocoon all the time. On the contrary! Iโm looking for the possibilities, and not the impossibilities. Thatโs my life motto! And independency with a physical disability is also a high priority in my undertaking life. :) Every year Iโm making a trip to have a water sports holiday on a great lake (sailing, canoeing, rowing and even water skiing). When Iโm in my hometown I love to be with my fellow butterfly friends to have a good fresh (vegetarian) meal and to enjoy their company. I can also really enjoy of the serenity of nature or writing my thoughts and feelings down on paper as poetry.

Is Europe safe to travel?

Solo travel
I traveled around Italy, Hungary, and then I went to Vienna. I felt safe in Italy, depending on the city where I was. Venice was certainly charming and I felt safe there. In Milan, I didn't feel safe alone at all, and also witnessed a considerable amount of crime. In Hungary, I felt safe during the day, although the nights could become a bit more intimidating. I had a few problems, but I would be happy to go back there alone. Vienna was definitely the safest place! Everyone was so nice - I never got upset!

I spent 9 weeks in Europe. The only trip I had booked was a 15-day cruise from Venice to Dubrovnik, and I spent the rest of my time in Airbnb accommodations in Venice, Korcula, Split, Ljubljana, by Lake Bled, and in Zagreb. I went on 3-day trips to Postojna caves, Plitvice Lakes, and one gorge (I don't remember the name, but it was amazing). I didn't have any problems. I booked accommodations before leaving, did not encounter any obstacles, felt very safe, and had a great time. 9 weeks was definitely not enough.

I'm from Taiwan, a beautiful small island in Asia. Though growing up mostly in Taiwan, I have lived in Shanghai and Ningbo for 4 years in my childhood. I'll be in Europe for six weeks and hope to make as many new friends as possible during my stay!

My last solo trip was in march to europe, I had one of the best experiences of my life. I met people around the world. I made many friends, got to know new places and cultures. it was an incredible experience
