Hi! I come originally from Spain but I've worked and lived abroad for the past 25 years. Since 2016 I've changed career paths to me more aligned with my values. I no longer work as a consultant in a big company, instead I accompany women throughout their entire motherhood (including birth). I'm also a qualified massage therapist (women only) and I'm fascinated by creating significant human interactions (women only 😅)... Having a cup of coffee and a chat with a good friend or even a total stranger can save lives ❤️🔥

Hi! I'm a busy student at the University of Ghent. Animals are my passion, more specifically horses. I enjoy loads of little projects and social activities. As a board member of a student organisation, I love to spend my evenings with friends in the city, doing activities or organising them. My hobbies and interests are very broad, from caring for my horse, to poledancing or ballroom dancing, to crocheting or reading a book (these last two are less prominent these days due to my busy schedule unfortunately). Travelling has always had a special place in my heart, I work hard throughout the year to finance my little trips with friends. More than 5 months spent without travelling makes me go crazy!🤪 Italy has a very special place in my heart and tends to be my go-to destination when I need an escape from daily life in Ghent!

Meet this dynamic duo Judyta & Nicol: Two fabulous Polish-born, Belgium-based fiancées in their thirties, living their best lives with two amazing dogs by their side. Social butterflies with a passion for travel, they’re always on the move, embracing new adventures and spreading good vibes wherever they go. Open-minded, full of love for each other (and humanity in general), they believe life is best served with laughter, connection, and a healthy dose of canine chaos.

Hi!! I’m Charlotte, an 19 year old from Belgium. Last year I took a gap-year and traveled the world (okay mainly Europe but still)! I stayed with some amazing people through Worldpackers and now want to return the favour to other young travelers :) I’m totally down to show you around if I don’t have to much class (I’m studying atm) and can give you some tips on where to go, how to get there etc! I’d love to hear about other people’s travel stories and talk about mine aswel (because let’s be honest no one gets the way it is to travel if they haven’t done it). Anyways, hit me up!

Ghent is a really nice and historic city to visit. I do think around 3 days in Ghent will be enough to explore the city. The atmosphere was nice and friendly, we felt very safe. You can take a really nice boat tour, during this a guide will tell you all about the city’s history. Also nice museums are around, like the ‘museum voor schone kunsten’. You will also find some nice bars and pubs.
Posted: March 7, 2025Its safe city 4 girls due to low crime rates, well-lit streets, reliable public transport. The city promotes gender equality U will find the best cultured food at Molenbeek, which is also very central!
