Budapest

Hi! I am szon, a 24 years old queer based in Budapest, Hungary. I live with my girlfriend (24F) and we travel together frequently. We love experiencing new countries and cuisines, but we have our favorite countries where we love to return to - Ireland and Italy are our current favorites. When I am not traveling, I love watching anime or reading manga, and I also play video games on the occasion. I work from home so I have ample time to take care of the household, and I really like to cook as well. Feel free to message me asking for advice on what to do in Budapest, I have lived here for years and love showing people around.

Bermet
My name is Bermet, I am 22 years old (sometime cashiers still do not alcohol to me assuming that i am 16đ„Č). I am from Kyrgyzstan (a country of mountains and hospitable people). I would say that I am very kind and curious. I am very good at cleaning and I canât stand when my working zone, sleeping or eating zone are dirty. I like cooking, for me it is some sort of a meditation. Right now I am studying in Budapest at ELTE Social Integration and I really like finding out something new about new cultures. I can say that I can get alongside with pretty much everyone since I am extrovertedđ

I felt very safe in Budapest, even when walking at night. I recommend visiting Fishermanâs Bastion, SzĂ©chenyi Baths, and taking a Danube river cruise. Skip overpriced tourist restaurants in VĂĄci Street. Try local food at the Great Market Hall or eat goulash at a traditional Hungarian bistro. I stayed in District VII (Jewish Quarter), which was lively and close to everything. My budget was around âŹ50ââŹ70 per day, including meals, transport, and attractions. Public transport is easy and reliableâI used trams and metros with a daily pass. My itinerary included Buda Castle, St. Stephenâs Basilica, ruin bars, and the thermal baths. Overall, it was a beautiful and affordable trip!

I travelled to Budapest with my best friend (he is a man) I felt pretty safe there, because I was not alone but also because of the vibes I get from the people and the cities The food was ok, it is not very diversified, however it's cheap to buy foods even in restaurants The monuments are really pretty, I recommend to do the Parliament, all the religious monuments like churches, and to go up the hill to have a perfect view of all the city (go for the sunset!)

I'm currently working online as a tutor while writing my last few termpapers to finally finish uni. So I have a lot of free time that I'd love to spend with new people đ€ During travels I love to see as much as possible of the place that I'm visiting and spend time the most effective way. I like a good mix of sightseeing, culture, good food and meeting new people at different events like dancing, for example.
