About me

I’m Melinda, a 32 y/o phd student (in law), and assistant professor (in health sociology) from Hungary, University of Szeged; but I’m a crazy, three hugging redhead too. I’m a pianist, and sociologyst at the same time. I love making new friends, talking about the univers, the meaning of life, listening music together, and talking about our impressions, and looking for figures in the clouds. I’m also a big foodie, and open to try all kinds of food and new experiences, but i’m vegan (also for healt reasons). I prefer the non-touristy stuffs.

Budapest, Solo travel

Budapest is not the usual tourist destination, but it should be. It is a beautiful city that is friendly to tourists and relatively easy to get around. Give yourself a few days to explore and fall in love with the food and the charms of this Eastern European Gem.

Budapest, Solo travel

I’ve been many times to Budapest, both solo and with others. Like most places in Hungary, I feel incredibly safe in their capital city. Transit is easy to navigate and inexpensive. Remember, Hungary does not use the euro. This can be good because typically things are cheap compared to other European countries but you do have to remember to exchange money.
