About me

🌍 About Me Hey! I’m Mell — a globe-trotting soul who’s touched down on almost every continent (not yet, in Antarctica!). I’ve traveled solo, with friends, and made incredible connections along the way. I believe the best kind of journey is the one that connects you to yourself and to others. 💫 My Vibe I’m all about deep chats under the stars, spontaneous dance floors in faraway places, sunrise hikes, and the magic of meeting kindred spirits in unexpected corners of the world. I’m equal parts adventurer, foodie, spiritual seeker, and sunset chaser. ✨ What I’m Into • Soulful experiences & meaningful conversations • Yoga, meditation & high-vibe living • Local cultures, nature escapes, and good coffee and nice book. • Turning strangers into lifelong friends☺️

About me

Hi there! I'm Sedona, a 27-year-old adventurer originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, now embracing life in the charming city of Porto, Portugal. My wife and I, both military veterans, met in Ukraine prior to the war and made the exciting move here in February 2025 with our three beloved cats. I have a passion for travel, food, and art, and love discovering new cultures and cuisines. When I'm not exploring Porto's vibrant streets, you'll find me with a book in hand or experimenting with new recipes. Let's share our travel tales and inspire each other to explore the world!

Lisbon, Solo travel

I fell in love with Portugal! Even though I prefer Porto, I still admit that Lisbon is wonderful! Love this city! Sincerely 💔 that's what i want to say: 1. the best ramen in my life: Panda Cantina (https://www.instagram.com/pandacantina?igsh=MWtleDNrcXljYnpmcw==); 2. buy local landmark azulejo tiles as a souvenir: Cortiço & Netos; 3. Surfing 🏄: Cascais (the city is near Lisboa) and Nazare (In November you can see the biggest waves in the world here); 4. Cabo da Roca (is a cape which forms the westernmost point of the Sintra Mountain Range, of mainland Portugal, of continental Europe, and of the Eurasian landmass. Once upon a time people called this place the end of the world. The sunset there is amazing. The photos with me were taken in this very place); 5. Pastel de nata + port wine = something you must try. Lisbon is Home of Pastel de Nata. Porto is home of port wine. The real Portuguese combo!

Continental Portugal, Solo travel

I visited Porto, Lisbon, Sesimbra and the Algarve. Not enough time. So safe as solo traveler. Easy to drive. Kindest people ever. I loved it. I want yo go again. I stayed at Marriotts to earn or redeem. The W Algarve was my favorite Marriott ever.
