Hi! I’m a 22yo sociology student, leftist, cat mom and activist living in Ljubljana. I’m half-Slovene, half-Italian but my Italian isn’t perfect! I’d like to travel to explore Croatia, Italy and Austria, and possibly some other nearby countries, so if you want to travel there with a travel buddy, feel free to hit me up! 💌 I’m also open to discovering other interesting places in Slovenia! ✨ I’m open to meeting new people & hanging out, and I can show you around Ljubljana. I’m a very calm person who’s always happy to meet new people. I’m vegan taking the liberation pledge 🌱so I’d prefer to travel with other vegans or at least have trips where we both eat at vegan restaurants or have cruelty-free/vegan meals elsewhere🌱✌🏻🐽

Hi! 🌼🌷🌺My name is Rebeka but friends call me Dia. I am from Maribor, Slovenia... A small but special town in a small and unique country. Filled with diverse and friendly people. I live as an artist, painter and love to travel so I can use new insights in the portraits and artwork I do. I love meeting new people, hang out, share stories and laugh. A lot😃 I don't take life too seriously, am spontaneous and I love change and challenge. Other than that I enjoy peaceful days and evenings by myself and share them with those around. I wish you wonderful travels and if you're in Slovenia🇸🇮 feel free to contact me 🌊✈️🏝🏕🏞

Hello, I’m Nina from Slovenia! A bit about me: I come from a big family with four siblings and a lot of cousins, which means I’ve always been surrounded by people. I’ve lived in several countries, including Sweden, the Netherlands, and France (I was au-pair), which has sparked my love for travel and exploring new places. I’m very flexible, organized, active, and hardworking. I’m also a big fan of nature, sports, and spending quality time with friends. Cooking and baking are some of my favorite things to do, and I enjoy learning about new cultures through food. So I would love for you to experience my country. There's so much to see here, from the beautiful landscapes to the rich culture, and I truly believe you would enjoy it. If you're ever interested in visiting, I would be more than happy to be your guide. I'd love to show you around, introduce you to local spots, and make sure you get the most out of your time here.

Izola is an absolutely lovely small seaside town that is a summer vacation favorite for Slovenians (so I heard) and i would say it's a hidden gem to replace a visit to Piran with as it's full of a vibrant life of locals, with small open air concerts etc. I stayed at Hostel Alieti which is a big reason for my good experience since I met a lot of lovely slovenians there of all different ages. Restaurant Parangal was also really good. Not a party town, not a town in general so not much to see, but a lovely atmosphere to enjoy. Would recommend cycling, i cycled to Piran back and loved it. Would absolutely recommend and i'm so happy i stumbled across this town on my Interrail.
