Me and my friends travelled around in a van. I had the best experience, Slovenia is so beautiful! The prices are cheaper compared to Germany and the Netherlands. I felt overall very safe there. The Slovenian people are very kind and love to help you.

We felt really safe. We stayed each day in a different accommodation and without fail everyone was very nice and helpful. I recommend checking out the capital, it's really charming and easy to check out as it is pretty small compared to other European capitals. And of course there's Bled, which is breathtaking. I highly recommend 3-4 days in the area of the national park, there's just so many beautiful things to see and so many fun things to do. Piran is another beauty of Slovenia I wouldn't mind visiting again! As for transportation, each time I visited the country it was always by car. It is very easy to get around by cars. I'd however recommend planning beforehand and booking the accomodations in advance. It was hard to find something for the same night especially around the national park area.
