Heyy my name is Alma, I live in a village near Ljubljana, Slovenia. I love to travel and I was really excited to discover this app. I am currently finishing high school in Ljubjana and planning my next longer trip in summer. I am very curious, enegetic, organised and clean person and I like to meet new people, hang out, try new restaurants, movies, theatre shows, exhibitions and go clubbing. Hi! I’m a 22yo neurodivergent sociology student, leftist, cat mom and activist living in Ljubljana. I’m half-Slovene, half-Italian but my Italian isn’t perfect! Izola / Isola, Solo travel
Izola is an absolutely lovely small seaside town that is a summer vacation favorite for Slovenians (so I heard) and i would say it's a hidden gem to replace a visit to Piran with as it's full of a vibrant life of locals, with small open air concerts etc. I stayed at Hostel Alieti which is a big reason for my good experience since I met a lot of lovely slovenians there of all different ages. Restaurant Parangal was also really good. Not a party town, not a town in general so not much to see, but a lovely atmosphere to enjoy. Would recommend cycling, i cycled to Piran back and loved it.
